I'm sure all of you have heard in the Territory Wars group chat that Jim Cornette's NWA has unfortunately folded.
The Territory Wars admin staff and I have come together with an interesting idea with what to do regarding the NWA roster, and that announcement is as follows.
- There is going to be a 2 round draft that includes all 4 of the active Territories in the game.
- Draft order will be randomly generated by myself and posted in a draft board the day of the draft, NO EARLIER!
- Round 1 will allow each of us to choose 1 Superstar from off of Brian's roster, only if that superstar has be qualified as a restricted superstar
- Round 2 will run in reverse order to that of round 1 meaning pick 4 in the 1st round would be pick 1 in the second.
- In round 2, you are given the opportunity to keep the superstar you have selected from NWA, or trade that superstar in for one already listed on the current restricted list.
- Tag teams can be split in this draft, for example if you want Scott Steiner, but not Rick, I'll allow you to only select Scott.
- The same rule applies for singles stars that are legitimate tag teams (ex. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were drafted as singles stars, but you can drat them as a tag team, because they were a top tag team before. You cannot draft Hulk Hogan and Sting as a tag team.
I'm sure this question will be asked, but yes, tag teams only count as 1 pick, so you can draft a tag team and trade them in for a singles superstar or vice versa.
Not everyone on the NWA roster will qualify for this draft, guys like Chris Masters and Hardcore Holly will no doubt be labelled non-restricted and be available free agent signings the week after this draft takes place.
For the 2nd round, you may trade your superstar for the restricted star traded away in the pick before you.
For example, say Logan has the 2nd pick in the 1st round and takes Hulk Hogan. I have the next pick, and I choose Sting. In the 2nd round, I trade Sting to the restricted list for the New Age Outlaws. Logan can then trade Hogan to the restricted list for Sting if he so chooses to.
In terms of trading, two companies can choose to trade one of the restricted superstars drafted in the 1st round to another company for someone off their current roster, but by doing so, BOTH TEAMS forfeit their picks in the 2nd round. You can not trade with a company that has already made a pick in the 2nd round either, so I will allow a grace period between rounds to allow for some time to talk potential trades.
Please message below so I know all 4 of us have read and understand the rules. This draft will not commence until all 4 of us have signed off.
If there are any questions please ask me and I'll try to explain to the best of my abilities.
With that being said, Eric Bischoff and Ring of Honor have officially signed up for the draft.
