Cue the lights, cue the video package, and cue the pyro! We are live for another episode of RoH TV as Shinedown’s Devour blares through the opening video.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to RoH TV! Mauro Ranallo here, joined as always by my broadcast partner Corey Graves. We are live in the Hammerstein Ballroom in Manhattan New York, and what a packed show we have for you tonight!
Graves: A last minute change of plans last week by our owner Eric Bischoff has added Brock Lesnar to the RoH Championship match at Death Before Dishonor which is now a Fatal Five-Way match! We’ll hear from Seth Rollins tonight, who suffered a terrible loss at the hand of Lesnar last week. Also in action tonight, The Young Bucks who I can confirm are here this week Mauro!
Ranallo: Don’t forget Bobby Roode gets his final opportunity to qualify for the RoH Championship match tonight, as he faces Greg Roberts and Okada in a triple threat! None of that compares to tonight’s main event though, Ring of Honor’s number 2 and 3 picks in the draft go face to face for the first time under the new regime as Finn Balor goes one-on-one with Shinsuke Nakamura!
Graves: Bobby Roode needs to win that match tonight, the fate of RoH depends on it! No one wants to see that nobody Greg Roberts at Death Before Dishonor!
We go to the ring where RoH General Manager James Ellsworth is standing in the ring with an unnamed superstar, meaning we must be starting off the show with a contract opportunity challenge match. Ellsworth has a microphone in one hand and one of his t-shirts in the other. No Corey Graves in the ring this time though, as it seems Ellsworth wants to address the crowd himself.
Ellsworth: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the third annual James Ellsworth Contract Opportunity Challenge! I’ve told Corey Graves to stay at the announce table this week, because I have something that I want to say! Last week, Braun Strowman showed me the ultimate disrespect when he ripped up my shirt before I could give it to Kenny! That kind of disrespect won’t be tolerated here anymore, so I’ve banned Braun Strowman from the building tonight!
The crowd boo’s, that was not the reaction Ellsworth was expecting.
Now before we start **Turns to the unknown local talent.** I want to give you this shirt right now! I want to make sure that nothing stops you from getting this t-shirt
Ellsworth hands the local talent the shirt, he reluctantly agrees to take it.
Now what is your name?
Ellsworth hands the microphone over to the unknown local talent who tells the crowd his name is Alan “Funk” Masters from Dearborn, Michigan. Ellsworth asks Masters if he has anything else he would like to address to the crowd, and Alan tells Ellsworth to have that contract ready, because with Strowman banned from the building tonight, there is no way he’s going to lose.
Alan Masters vs. Tommy End
James Ellsworth Contract Opportunity Challenge
Masters’ opponent tonight is none other than Tommy End, the crowd goes crazy as his music begins to play from the speakers. End sits down cross legged in the middle of the ring as the bell rings, and Masters just stands there confused. After a brief moment, Masters walks over to Tommy End who stands up, towering over him. Masters his End with rights and lefts but End doesn’t even flinch. Tommy then whips Masters against the ropes, and catches him on the rebound with the Black Mass for the 3 count.
Winner: Tommy End by pinfall. (Black Mass)
End leaves the ring after the match as Ellsworth rolls back in and informs the unconscious Masters that unfortunately, he hasn’t won himself a contract, but at least he gets to keep that shirt. Ellsworth tries to help Masters up to his feet, but can barely lift the man himself, just then….
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR
The crowd erupts as Braun Strowman heads down to the ring. Ellsworth tries to tell Strowman to get out of his arena, but Strowman just look at him, and that’s enough to send Ellsworth running for his life back to his office. Strowman then turns his attention over to Masters, he picks him up by the scruff of his neck, and rips the James Ellsworth shirt right off of him before planting him to the ground with a Running Powerslam. Strowman then picks up Masters again, and hits and other Running Powerslam before heading to the back followed by multiple referees and backstage officials who are all too scared to touch him.
Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish of reDRagon are hanging out in their locker room when in come Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley. The two teams shake hands and Bubba informs the boys that they were really impressed with what they saw when they were in the ring together, but they haven’t been able to get over that fact that they lost. Bubba informs reDRagon that he spoke with Eric Bischoff this morning, and if they want to, Bischoff has approved another tag match between them tonight. O’Reilly and Fish agree almost instantly telling the two hardcore legends that it would be their honor to face them again. The two teams shake hands, and Bubba wishes them luck, because “You boys won’t get one over on us twice in a row!”
**COMMERCIAL**
When we return from commercial, RoH Tag Team Champions Matt and Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks are in the ring. The boys hype their PPV title match with the Hardys before bringing up the fact that the RoH crowd won’t get to see Matt or Jeff until Death Before Dishonor which causes the crowd to boo. Matt Jackson calls the Hardy Boyz “sellouts” saying they ”Only care about making money which is why they won’t come to RoH TV. The Bucks however claim to care about the RoH crowd which is why they are here and why they’ve decided to defend their RoH Tag Team Championships tonight on free television. Nick tells the crowd while they were stuck in Japan after completing their final NJPW appearances thanks to James Ellsworth, they had plenty of time to come up with a suitable team to defend theirs titles against. The Bucks take turns listing off tag team legends such as ”The Legion of Doom, #DIY, The Motor City Machine Guns, and Edge & Christian before informing the crowd it won’t be any of them because ”They’re all locked up! causing the crowd to boo. Laughing at the reaction, Matt motions over to the stage and introduces their challengers, The Headbangers!
The Young Bucks © vs. The Headbangers
RoH Tag Team Championship Match:
Not the typical all out tag team match that you’re used to seeing with a team like The Young Bucks, but this match did the trick, as the purpose was more so just to build up the Tag Team Champions two weeks before they defend their titles against The Hardy Boyz. The finish comes after Mosh misses the Stage Dive, allowing The Bucks to take him out of the match with a Superkick Party. With Mosh out in the corner of the ring, The Young Bucks pick up Thrasher and hit the Meltzer Driver for the win.
Winners: The Young Bucks by pinfall (Meltzer Driver).
The Bucks celebrate in the ring like they’ve just beaten The Mega Powers, when the familiar laughter of “Broken” Matt Hardy can be heard over the arena speakers. Getting their attention of the Young Bucks, they turn to the jumbotron to see Matt Hardy, who is back at the Hardy Compound.
Matt Hardy: Yeeeesss, WONDERFUL! You have EVISCERATED the Heads that Bang, but they are only a stepping stone to what will be the real battle at Death Before Dishonor! You see Bucks of Youth, Brother Nero and I have been training diligently here at the Hardy compound, and we are so close, yeeeeesss we are so close to being ready to defeat you for those RoH Tag Team Championships. Brother Matthew, Brother Nicholas at Death Before Dishonor, you will arrive at the arena as Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions, but at the end of the night, your title reign will have been, DELETED! Yeeeeesssss.
As Matt Hardy fades off the jumbotron, we pan backstage to see Tommy End walking down the hall way. End passes by Matt Sydal who hasn’t been seen since losing the opening match against End at the first RoH TV. Sydal and End lock eyes, but Sydal just nods at him and turns away, so End keeps walking as well. Suddenly, End is stopped by his old friend Chris Hero and Hero’s partner Cesaro. The Kings of Wrestling ask Tommy if he ended up seeing their victory over the New Day last week and End nods. Complimenting him on yet another EASY victory, which was said loud enough to try and catch Sydal’s attention, Hero asks Tommy if he has put any more thought in to joining them. Tommy stares at Chris Hero before turning his attention over to Cesaro. The two superstars size themselves up, before Tommy turns back to Chris Hero and says ”Not interested.” Tommy End goes to walk away, but is stopped by the KOW who are completely surprised that Tommy isn’t willing to join his old friends. Hero asks End to reconsider, but Tommy isn’t willing to listen and continues along the hallway. Cesaro and Hero discuss to themselves why End would be unwilling to join them, until they are interrupted by the sound of Matt Sydal’s laughter. They turn to Sydal and ask him if he thinks something is funny. Before Sydal can answer, Cesaro attacks him, slamming him in to the concrete wall and pummeling him with lefts and rights as Sydal drops to the ground trying to cover up. Cesaro then picks Hero up and goes to hit him with a Rolling Elbow, when Ricochet, a former tag partner of Sydal’s in NJPW comes running in to stop things. Ricochet stands in between Sydal and the Kings of Wrestling and tells them to fight him, but Hero and Cesaro laugh ”Maybe next week.” Cesaro says as they walk away, leaving Ricochet to call out for some medical attention for Sydal.

The Dudley Boyz vs. reDRagon
This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks these two teams have fought, reDRagon leads the series 1-0. Action packed match up! The Dudley Boyz can really hang with a younger and much lighter Fish and O’Reilly. A couple of near falls by both teams, including Kyle O’Reilly just managing to break up a 3 count after a 3D on Bobby Fish had the crowd on their feet! The finish comes when O’Reilly tries to lift up a seemingly groggy Bubba Ray, but Bubba was playing possum and rolls up O’Reilly. Bubba Ray grabs a hold of the tights and the referee doesn’t see it, counting the 1,2,3. The Dudleyz and reDRagon now have 1 win a piece. After the match a pissed of O’Reilly tried to explain to the referee what happened, while Bubba and Devon make their way to the back yelling towards the ring that they told them they wouldn’t beat them again.
Winners: The Dudley Boyz by pinfall.
**Another video package plays hyping the of Moose. The video ends with the same graphic as last week “Coming Soon: The Debut of Moose” as an audio clip of the crowd is heard chanting his name.**
“Moose! Moose! Moose! Moose!”
We head backstage to Eric Bischoff’s office, where the RoH owner is with GM James Ellsworth discussing how successful tonight’s show has been. Bischoff continues to drop subtle hints about how he’s the reason tonight’s show isn’t a disaster like last week, but they go way over Ellsworth’s head. Just then, there’s a knock at the door and in walks Zack Sabre, Jr. ZSJ explain to Eric that he hasn’t had a match since he tore the house down with Shinsuke Nakamura in week one, and ask for an opportunity to prove himself, as he believes he should be a championship contender in the company. While this is going on, Pete Dunne also walks in the office, over hearing the end of Sabre’s conversation, Dunne quickly explains that he almost won the Triple Threat match last week, and if anyone should be getting an opportunity to prove themselves it should be him. James Ellsworth decides that since both superstars are from England, they should be put in a tag team, but that idea is meat with a resounding ”NO!” from both superstars as well as Bischoff. Eric tells James he has a better idea and informs Dunne and Sabre that at Death Before Dishonor, the two superstars will have a match, but not just any match. He tells them they will compete in the first of many RoH Best of 7 Series matches with the winner of the series becoming the number one contender for the Television title. Satisfied, both Dunne and Sabre thank Bischoff before leaving his office.
Okada vs. Bobby Roode vs. Greg Roberts
Winner Enters the Fatal Five-Way Match at Death Before Dishonor
Roode sneak attacks Okada before the bell, tossing him out of the ring and turning his attention to a trembling Greg Roberts. Roode charges at Roberts, but Greg slides out of the ring. Roode heads out after him, but Roberts continues to run circles around the ring with Bobby Roode hot on his tail. Soon Greg runs out of energy and as Roode catches up to him, he is sent flying in to the ring post by an angry Okada. Okada and Roode then begin to trade punches on the outside as Greg watches, trying drastically to catch his breath, while at the same time staying as far away from the action as possible. The referee pleads with the 3 superstars to get back in the ring, but to no avail as Okada and Roode are hell bent on beating the living shit out of each other and continue to slug it out on the outside of the ring. Roode sends Okada in to the steel steps, as the referee reluctantly begins his 10 count.
1, 2…. Roode charges at Okada, but Okada moves, sending Roode crashing knee first in to the steps. Okada whips Roode in to the barricade and starts throwing lefts and rights.
3, 4… Okada tries to smash Roodes face off the barricade, but Bobby Roode blocks it and makes sure Okada is the one kissing the railings instead.
5, 6… Roode misses a right hand allowing Okada to quickly poke Roode in the eye. As Roode covers up in pain, Okada his him with a series of leg kicks to the back of the legs.
7… Greg looks up at the referee, he then looks down the ring at Okada and Roode who are still slugging it out. Taking a deep breath, Greg slowly starts to sneak over towards his two opponents.
8… Roode catches Okada’s leg and spins him back in to the barricade. Hearing the referee’s 8 count, Roode grabs Okada and goes to toss him in the ring.
9… Okada grabs Roode’s arms and spin him around to so that they are face to face. Before anything else can happen though, Greg Roberts comes barrelling around the corner and pushes Okada in to the Roode, the collision knocks the two of them to the floor, as Greg seeing his opportunity quickly rolls back in to the ring.
10!!!!!!!!! The referee calls for the bell. Roode and Okada look up towards the ring in confusion, and are shocked to see that Greg Roberts had just made it in to the ring in time!
Winner: Greg Roberts by count out.
We head backstage to see Seth Rollins sitting on a stool in his locker room getting mic’d up. His interview is coming up next!
**COMMERCIAL**
As we return from commercial, we see RoH officials running around in a panic calling for EMTs. The camera follows Eric Bischoff and James Ellsworth as the rush in to the locker room to see Seth Rollins down on the ground writhing in pain and holding his knee. Bischoff asks Seth what the hell happened, but Seth isn’t able to tell answer him. ”He attacked me from behind! Ah my knee, I think it’s broken! God dammit!”. Furious, Bischoff yells at the EMTs to hurry up and get Rollins some treatment while Ellsworth can be seen grabbing various RoH officials by the collar and asking them if they were responsible for the attack. Visibly stressed, Bischoff asks the paramedic treating Rollins’ knee if he’s going to be able to compete next Sunday, but the medic is unable to answer that question at this moment, informing Bischoff that it ”Doesn’t look too good.” Bischoff storms off while Ellsworth can still be seen in the background playing detective.
Finn Balor vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
MATCH OF THE CENTURY! Or at least it could have been, had the match actually finished. Balor and Nakamura were tearing the house down until Brock Lesnar slides in to the ring from out of nowhere and destroys both superstars with F-5’s. Standing in the ring surveying the damage, Lesnar decides he hasn’t done enough before handing both Balor and Nakamura yet another F-5 for their troubles.
Winner: No Contest
Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen. My name is Paul Heyman, and I am the advocate for the soon to REIGNING, UNDISPUTED, RoH CHAMPION, BROOOOCK LESNAR! Last week, my client was given the ultimate opportunity to qualify for the main event at Death Before Dishonor. An opportunity I might add, that was given to him by our gracious owner, Eric Bischoff! An opportunity, that Brock should have been given in the first place by this companies “Oh so competent” General Manager. My client, BROOOOCK LESNAR took that opportunity and dominated Seth Rollins just like we knew he would. My client BROOOOCK LESNAR easily dismantled Seth Rollins, and now my client has just proven again what he is capable of. At Death Before Dishonor, my client is going to tear Finn Balor apart! My client is going to incapacitate Shinsuke Nakamura! My client is going to end the career of that Cinderella story, circus act name Greg? Roberts? Whatever his name is, my client is going to rid RoH of that problem once and for all. Seth Rollins, if you can even make it to Death Before Dishonor, already got a taste last week of what is going to happen next Sunday. Oh, and before anyone jumps to any conclusions, if Seth Rollins thinks Brock Lesnar was the one who just attacked him earlier, you can think again because if my client had been the one who jumped you, he would have ripped your knee right off!
Loud boo’s are heard from the crowd.
Next Sunday, my client BROOOOCK LESNAR is going to walk in to that ring, he’s going to VICTIMIZE anyone who gets in his way, and he will walk out RoH World Heavyweight Champion!
RoH TV comes to a close with Lesnar and Heyman standing in the ring while Balor and Nakamura remain motionless to a loud chorus off boo’s while Lesnar’s music blares over the arena speakers.
