TWN ASKS: Bobby Roode
TWN ASKS: What is your opinion on the match that James Ellsworth set for the RoH PPV Death before Dishonor, the Fatal Four-Way for the RoH Championship?
Roode: My opinion? A multi-man match at the first PPV for the company’s biggest Championship, how original. Last I checked, just about every new promotion is doing the same thing. Did James Ellsworth sit at home on Monday night and watch Raw before coming up with that idea? You know, I thought Eric Bischoff wanted must see tv, I thought he wanted controversy, not the same things everyone else is already doing. Pathetic.
TWN ASKS: Do you feel slighted that James Ellsworth didn’t automatically pick you for that match, that you have to demand to be put in the match?
Roode: If James Ellsworth knew what was good for this company, he would have just given me the RoH Championship when I told him to on Wednesday! The fact that I need to go out there next week and waste my valuable time beating up some poor sap to get in a match that I already know I’m going to win is absolutely pointless. Ellsworth should worry about more pressing matters like why we don’t have a backstage interviewer, and how security let you in to the building. He’s already demonstrated within the first half hour of his tenure here that he should leave the major decisions up to the big boys.
TWN ASKS: Is there any superstar in the RoH roster that you feel might take your spot in the Fatal Four-Way match, knowing that if you lose your match next week, your opponent will be your replacement?
Roode: Who the hell do you think you’re talking to? Do you not know who I am? I’m the IT Factor, I’m Bobby Roode! There isn’t a single superstar in the business that can beat me? They should have just fed-exed me the championship when they sent over my contract after the draft. No, I’m not worried about losing my spot to anyone.
Suddenly, Roode stops yelling at the reporter. The camera pans out to see Kazuchika Okada standing there with a big smile on his face.
Roode: Can I help you?
Okada walks over to Roode, still smiling.
Okada: I just talk to Ellsworth. Next week, I am your opponent. Our match, will be…..GLORIOUS! HA HA HA!
Okada walks away laughing, which seems to have infuriated Bobby Roode as he turns his attention back over to the reporter.
Roode: Get the hell out of my face.
TWN ASKS: Trish Stratus
TWN ASKS: What’s your reaction to winning the WCW Women’s championship?
Trish: It’s an amazing feeling I was in that match with a group of phenominal women and to be the one to come out on top and win the Championship in the first Women’s Ladder match it is really just not explainable how great that feels.
TWN ASKS: Who is on your radar as #1 contender?
Trish: Wow that really is a tough one. You know I am down for any contender. AJ Lee was the first Woman selected in the whole draft so I can see her trying to be the one that faces me next but I have to admit I am really itching to get in the ring with Charlotte so I hope that happens sooner rather than later.
TWN ASKS: The first ever Women’s Ladder Match. What’s next for Trish Stratus? What match will elevate your stock within WCW, and who is in it with you?
Trish: I’m just going to keep doing what I do best and that’s win. I plan on holding this Championship for a long time. As for my stock with in WCW I think Shane knows what I am worth and I will continue to prove it. I think that everyone Woman drafted to WCW deserves to be here and the ladder match is just the beginning I am hoping to have allot of first ever matches here in WCW and I think with the talent we have and the talent I know Shane is interested in signing in the future I think we will be able to accomplish allot.
TWN ASKS: CM Punk
TWN ASKS: How do feel, being picked as #1 Draft pick in the Territory Wars Draft?
CM Punk: What do you want me to say here. You want me to talk about how blessed I am to be number one. I was picked with the number one pick because everybody in every single company knows that I deserve it. I have busted my ass for years to get where I am. I have bled all over the world, I have won more championships that I have spots to put on my wall. I was picked number one because Eric, Shane and even Vince knows that I DESERVE it! John Cena, and The Rock will find out at Money in the Bank.
TWN ASKS: Does being picked #1 in the draft give you an entitlement to be included in the WWF RAW Main Event picture?
CM Punk: Entitlement…..They know where I belong. Listen to the crowd every Monday Night when I come out. They want me to close the show out. I don’t get caught up in the politics of this game. I let my in ring work do all the talking for me. Entitlement is for losers. Everything I have in life I earned…..I have given everything in my body to this business.
TWN ASKS: You’ve faced both The Rock and John Cena before in different organizations. Are you going into the Triple Threat match at Money In The Bank with a different mindset than before, or is your gameplan the same?
CM Punk declined to answer.
