Cue the lights, cue the video package, and cue the pyro! We are live for another episode of RoH TV as Shinedown’s Devour blares through the opening video.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to RoH TV! Mauro Ranallo here, joined as always by my broadcast partner Corey Graves! Nigel McGuinness is again not here tonight. We are live in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, our final episode of RoH TV before All-Star Extravaganza!
Graves: We have a big night in store for the RoH fans tonight Mauro! The New Day is going to take on The Dudley Boyz for the final spot in the 4 Team Elimination Tag Match at this Saturday’s All-Star Extravaganza! Speaking of that match, Eric Bischoff will make an official announcement on the status of The Kings of Wrestling, and The Hardyz after that brutal assaut last week by Chris Hero and Cesaro.
Ranallo: Allot of tag team action tonight Graves, Tommy Dreamer and Roderick Strong who still haven’t revealed their 3 partner for this weekend’s 6-man tag will team up to take on The Guerrillas of Destiny! Also in our main event, Shinsuke Nakamura is going to team up with Finn Balor to take on the team of Bobby Roode, and Dean Ambrose!
The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) w/ Xavier Woods vs. The Dudley Boyz
Fatal 4-Way Qualifier
We head right in to the action this week as two of RoH’s more experienced tag teams battle for the final spot in this Saturday’s Tag Team Fatal 4-Way match! The usual veteran tag match, with Bubba trying to stay out of the ring whenever Big E is in, and multiple double team moves by the heels who tag in and out rather frequently to isolate Kofi Kingston in their corner most of the match. A miscommunication by Bubba opens up the opportunity for Kofi to make a hot tag to his partner and Big E begins to clean house. A thumb to the eye stops Big E’s momentum, but Kofi is able to make a tag of E’s back and hit Bubba with the Trouble in Paradise to pick up the win for his team. Good way to start off tonight’s show!
After the match, Bubba and D-Von attack Kofi and Big E from behind, beating the two of them down as they show zero respect for the superstars who beat them cleanly. Xavier Woods runs in to the ring to try and save him teammates, but is met with a 3D for his troubles.
Bubba pushes D-Von and yells for him to ”Get the Tables!”, causing D-Von to slide out of the ring and start searching under the apron for a table.
While this is going on, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish of reDRagon come charging down to ramp with steel chairs in hand, chasing Bubba and D-Von out of the ringside area and up the ramp, saving New Day from any more unnecessary punishment at the hands of the Dudley Boyz.
Winners: The New Day by pinfall.
We head backstage to RoH interview Colt Cabana who is standing by with his guest.
Colt Cabana: Ladies and gentlemen of Ring of Honor, it’s time to get the inside scoop with Colt Cabana! My guests at this time….
Maria: I’ll take it from here! Thank you!
Maria cuts Cabana off by walking in to the view of the camera and snatching the microphone out of his hands. Colt looks on confused, but Maria just waves ”Bye-bye” to him, and Colt walks out of view shaking his head.
Maria: Slobs and peasants of the RoH audience, may I present to you the greatest wrestler, and most handsome man in Ring of Honor today, my miracle, “The Miracle” Michael Bennett!
The camera pans over to see a smiling Mike Bennett standing off to the side of his wife Maria. After being introduced, he quickly walks closer to his wife.
Bennett: Much better!
Maria: Now Mike, last week you single handily beat the number on contender to the Ring of Honor Championship, Finn Balor only to be attack from behind by that disgusting Moose! After he attacked you, ew! He told you that you would have to face him this weekend at All-Star Extravaganza, when we all know that your victory last week should automatically have you added to the RoH World Heavyweight Championship match!
Bennett: My love, week after week I am overlooked by the “management” team here in Ring of Honor. It doesn’t matter what I go out there and do, or who I embarrass in the middle of that ring, I am always the afterthought. I made Finn Balor look like a little kid out there last week! I beat the number one contender to the Ring of Honor Championship easily, and yet I’m still not even considered for a title match this Sunday. No, instead I have to go against Moose, the man who named himself after a stupid, useless, Canadian animal! Finn Balor lost to me last week, but low and behold, he’s in the main event tonight! Moose decided to stick his nose where and doesn’t belong, and he gets himself a warm up match tonight, but what do I get? Nothing! Maria, I am sick and tired of how James Ellsworth caters to the useless and the worthless superstars, while real talents such as myself are left to rot! This weekend, at All-Star Extravaganza, after I beat Moose I’m going to barge in to James Ellsworth’s office and give him the ultimatum. Either give me a title shot on RoH TV, or trade me!
**COMMERCIAL**
We return from the commercial break to Corey Graves and Mauro Ranallo at the announce desk.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, during the commercial break we had some events unfold backstage between The Dudley Boyz and reDRagon, no doubt stemming from reDRagon coming out earlier tonight to prevent The Dudley Boyz from putting The New Day through tables.
Graves: Bubba and D-Von attacked Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly after a heated argument, causing a brawl that needed to be separated by security!
Ranallo: We have just received word from James Ellsworth that due to the recent history between these two tag teams, Bubba Ray will be taking on Bobby Fish this Saturday at All-Star Extravaganza Night #1 with both D-Von Dudley and Kyle O’Reilly banned from ringside during that match!
Graves: That’s not all Mauro, the following night, D-Von will be taking on Kyle O’Reilly with the same stipulations applied to their match! With that being said, we take you back to the action!
Roderick Strong & Tommy Dreamer vs. The Guerrillas of Destiny
A final encounter between these 4 men before they meet at Sunday’s PPV Night #2. Neither team gives too much away in terms of what they’ll have in store for the weekend as this match is a little shorter than most would have expected. The G.O.Ds really overpower Tommy Dreamer, working over The Hardcore Icon who plays damsel in distress for most of the match before being able to make a hot tag to Roderick Strong. Strong gets some offense in, but eats a spear from Tama Tonga that cuts his momentum short, and puts the Guerrillas back in the driver’s seat. Multiple double team moves by the G.O.Ds cause and angry Tommy Dreamer to head back in the ring, and all hell breaks loose, with the good guys ended up on the winning end of the brawl. Dreamer sets Tana Loa up for a Dreamer DDT when suddenly Roderick Strong’s music begins to play from the arena speakers. Confused, Strong turns his attention over to the entrance ramp to see none other than Marty Scurll standing at the top of the stage.
This distraction allows enough time for Tama Tonga to slide in and aid his brother in giving Dreamer the Nightfall before knocking Strong off the apron, buying enough time for Tanga Loa to cover Dreamer for the 1,2,3!
Winners: The Guerrillas of Destiny by pinfall.
The Bullet Clubs’ celebration is cut short though, as a video appears on the jumbo-tron.
{We head back to the sounds of eerie music and the image of a shadowy figure standing in front of the doorway from last week.}
Voice: My arrival is coming….
{The door opens to reveal a heavily wooded forest, but the entire video quickly shifts to black and white as to not give away any unnecessary clues.}
Voice: I was everything you wanted me to be, and I became a star….
{The man begins to walk slowly in to the forest as the camera ever so slowly begins to rise up towards his chest.}
Voice: Now this star is going to leave them in the dust….
{The camera pans up the man’s chest towards his face, but the man puts on a mask before the camera can reach his chin.}
Voice: But is the world ready for the next chapter of the story?....
{The man continues to walk through the woods, as the camera slowly pans back to reveal multiple men wearing identical suits and dawning identical masks.}
Voice: Brace yourselves, your nightmare is coming….
{COMING SOON}
The camera switches over to an image of RoH Owner Eric Bischoff standing directly in front of the camera. Bischoff stares directly in to the camera and smiles, hearing the positive reaction from the crowd watching in the arena before beginning to speak.
Bischoff: Last week, in what was supposed to be match number one of a triple main event, The Kings of Wrestling took it upon themselves to attack The Hardyz from behind and brutally assault them, thus canceling their match before it could even begin. **the crowd boos** After speaking to some of the best doctors my money can buy, I have been informed that Matt and Jeff Hardy have both suffered serious possible career threatening injuries, and unfortunately, they will not be able to compete in a Ring of Honor arena for a very long time, if ever again.
The crowd boos again, clearly upset with what Eric Bischoff is telling them.
Bischoff: It is because of these heinous actions by The Kings of Wrestling that I have no choice, but to award them the final spot in the 4 Team Elimination match, because The Hardyz are in no shape to compete, and not a single other tag team would step up tonight to face them. **Very loud boos from the crowd again** I do however need to punish them in some way for what they did last week, so I have informed Chris Hero and Cesaro that they are to leave the arena immediately and will be suspended for the rest of tonight without pay. I look forward to seeing how they manage against 3 other team this Saturday, at All-Star Extravaganza!
Bischoff fades off the screen to a very angry crowd who have no issues sharing their feelings.
BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!
Aiden English vs. Moose
MOOSE! MOOSE! MOOSE! MOOSE!
English starts the match by coercing Moose in to a test of strength that Moose obviously dominates causing English to retreat to a corner in pain. Moose head over to attack English, but Aiden English grabs on to the ropes for dear life, causing the referee to get in between them and stopping Moose from attacking. As the referee backs Moose off, English charges in for an attack, but Moose side steps him, using English’s momentum to send him bouncing off the ropes where he is met head on with a Hitstick from Moose for the easy 1,2,3!
After the bell, Moose celebrates his painless victory with the crowd, when Mike Bennett comes out from the crowd to attack Moose. Moose is ready though, and ducks Bennett attempt, charging at him for a Hitstick! Bennett sees it coming though and quickly rolls out of the ring before Moose can get him. An angry Mike Bennett slowly retreats up the ramp while Moose, fuming looks on screaming ”I’ll see you this weekend!”
Winner: Moose by pinfall.
**COMMERCIAL**
As we return from commercial, we see Cesaro and Chris Hero walking backstage, presumably towards the parking lot after Bischoff’s announcement that they would be suspended for the night without pay. Hero and Cesaro don’t seemed to bothered by this news, on the contrary they are smiling, no doubt happy to know they were added to the Fatal 4-Way Tag Team match this Saturday without having to actually wrestle a match. The Kings of Wrestling continue to laugh and joke with each other on their way out of the arena, until they bump in to Seth Rollins.
Rollins: What’s so funny? Your careers?
Cesaro: More like the fact that you are the only superstar picked in the first round who is not a World Champion!
Rollins laughs.
Rollins: Ouch, that cuts me real deep Cesaro. About as deep as your hairline!
That last comment makes Cesaro visibly angry.
Cesaro: You think you are so funny Rollins, but I’ve got news for you, you’re nothing but an egotistical washed up excuse for a RoH superstar!
Rollins: I’m washed up? Have you seen your partner over here lately? Chris you used to be on top of the world! One of the biggest names in professional wrestling not tied down to a major contract! That was what, 20? 30 pounds ago? Now the only thing big about you is your gut!
Hero takes a step forward, but Cesaro extends his arm to keep his partner at bay.
Hero: You’re all jokes and no action Rollins!
Rollins: The only joke around here is how you two managed to get yourselves in to that Fatal 4-Way match without having to wrestle an actual match! I don’t know what kind of agreement you have going on with Eric Bischoff, but this whole thing seems to me that you’re clearly kissing his ass for something!
Hero: Like Eric said, nobody wanted to step up and fight us, so we got that final spot by default!
Cesaro: You should be thanking us Rollins, getting rid of The Hardyz makes for two less superstars on this roster who are more over than you!
Rollins: No one wanted to fight you two stooges? I find that hard to believe! Hell, I wasn’t even asked, because I would have beaten both of you clowns up myself! Come to think of it, didn’t I already beat you both two weeks ago?
Hero: This is a waste of time. What are you looking for Seth, a fight?
Rollins: Well, if you’re offering. Come to think of it, I don’t have a match this Sunday, and you two will surely be well rested after you lose nice and early in the Fatal 4-Way match on Saturday, so if you two can find the opening in your calendars, I’m sure I can find someone to tag with on Sunday?
Cesaro: You? Who the hell is going to actually want to tag with you? Your only friend Dean Ambrose hasn’t even acknowledged your existence since he showed up here, you are all alone Rollins!
Hero: Nah, nah Cesaro its fine. If it’s a fight he wants on Sunday, it’s a fight he’ll get. You see, I’d love nothing more than to embarrass you and whoever feels sorry enough to be your partner the night after we win the RoH World Tag Team Championships. That is, if you even make it to Sunday.
Hero and Cesaro begin to circle Rollins, who puts his arms up ready to attack. Just then, over walks Triple H with a snarl on his face. The Game stands beside Rollins, backing the Kings of Wrestling up. Rollins tries to persuade Hero and Cesaro to attack him anyways, but the Kings decide it’s not worth the fight and continue their walk towards the parking lot. Rollins looks over at Triple H who just continues to stare down The Kings of Wrestling as the slowly disappear from view, and we fade out from the scene.
Pete Dunne vs. Will Ospreay
The crowd is firmly behind Will Ospreay as he makes his second non-contracted RoH appearance against fellow Brit, “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. Dunne takes control of the match early trying to isolate and slow down Ospreay with strong technical wrestling and brutal powerhouse maneuvers. A slip out of the corner allows Ospreay to roll up Dunne almost getting a 3 count, but Dunne manages to kick up at the last second. Enraged by the roll up, Dunne loses focus and goes all out on Ospreay who uses this moment of mental weakness to get himself in control off the match. The finish comes when Ospreay jumps off the top rope for Corkscrew Shooting Star Press, but Dunne rolls out of the way. Ospreay slowly get up, clearly hurt from missing his dive, allowing Dunne to grab him and plant him down with The Bitter End for the 1,2,3!
Dunne celebrates his victory, and begins to stalk Ospreay, looking to dish out more damage. At this moment, the music of Zack Sabre, Jr. begins to play, and out comes ZSJ from the top of the stage.
Sabre slowly makes his way down the ramp as Dunne motions him towards the ring. As Sabre climbs up on top of the apron, Dunne rolls out of the ring and heads up the ramp shaking his head as he never had any real intention of fighting Sabre before Saturday’s match.
Winner: Pete Dunne by pinfall.

Dean Ambrose & Bobby Roode vs. Finn Balor & Shinsuke Nakamura
Balor starts the match for his side, while Ambrose and Roode argue over who get to start for their team. Multiple blind tags made between Ambrose and Roode who never really get along in this match. Ambrose and Roode almost get in to a brawl at one point, as Roode tags himself in with a hard slap to Ambrose’s back, which is reciprocated when Ambrose tag himself back in to the match by slapping Roode across the face, causing the two superstars to begin pushing and shoving each other in the corner while Nakamura and Balor watch and laugh. All hell breaks loose when Ambrose tries to cover Nakamura, but Roode claiming to be the legal man, pulls Ambrose off and covers the champ himself. Angered, Ambrose pulls Roode off Nakamura and the two begin to argue yet again, this time Roode shoves Ambrose in to the ropes, and Ambrose bounces back with a Lunatic Lariat!
Ambrose then pounces on Roode and begins to unload with rights and lefts to his own team mate as Balor and Nakamura try to pull him off. The referee seeing Ambrose has lost it on Roode calls for the bell declaring this match a no contest. RoH official are rushed down to the ring to pull Ambrose off Roode and finally succeed after multiple attempts to separate the two with Ambrose and Roode being forced to the back, Balor turns around to see only he and Nakamura are left alone in the ring, much to the crowd’s delight. They may be teammates on Saturday, but Sunday night they are opponents, wrestling for RoH’s biggest prize, the World Heavyweight Championship. The go-home episode of RoH TV ends with Balor and Nakamura standing face to face. They shake hands showing mutual respect for each other as they are both ready for this Sunday!
Winners: No Contest
