Lead Up:
- Kane and Finn Balor has continued their feud with Kane assuring Finn he wasn't finished with him after their previous match. With both men among the top of RoH's Main Event scene, as well as Mike Bennett holding big wins over both superstars, thanks in part to their interference, Nigel McGuinness made a major announcement for the show. As well as announcing the return of RoH World Heavyweight Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, McGuinness put these three superstars in a triple threat number one contender's match to decide Nakamura's next opponent.
- Moving on from the Dirty Heels, Rollins and Ambrose set their sites on evening Rollins' score with the Kings of Wrestling, but War Machine had a different idea. Costing the two Shield brothers a match against the Art of Flight, Rollins and Ambrose will instead face War Machine as Art of Flight get a second chance at claiming the RoH World Tag Team Championships!
- Looking to rebound from back to back losses against The Shield, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries set their sites on an easier target, the down on their luck Briscoe Brothers. Not expecting the Briscoes to be a feisty as they have been, these two teams are in for an all out war!
- After capturing his first RoH single's title thanks in large part to Titus O'Neil's new insurance policy Ezekiel Jackson, Moose has dominated the competition. Vowing to defend the television title every week for the duration of his title reign, Moose scored big wins over Jay Briscoe, Pete Dunne and former champion Marty Scurll on his path to the PPV. Once Moose was schedule to face Tommy End, Moose decided to walk out midway through the match at the first sign of a struggle. Tommy End is being awarded with a title shot for that reason.
- The friendly rivalry/alliance between New Day and The Rhodes Dynasty kicks up a notch this weekened as RoH has combined all the Bullet Club's feuds in to a single match. With Will Ospreay suffering an iury and not being able to compete, this match is looking like the first time the Bullet Club won't be able to play the numbers game to their advantage.
