When we last off our journey of The World Wrestling Federation we saw SummerSlam! What a night that event was. We witnessed new Tag Team Champions, IC, and even The World Title has changed hands. Since that date though we have witnessed 3 PPVS No Mercy, Hell in a Cell, and Survivor Series! This catch up will tell you about all the angles hitting right now.
We are going to start this off with the biggest of them all! The System! It was SummerSlam where we see Adam Cole win the WWF Title with the help of the mysterious Outsiders! Together all three men destroyed CM Punk and made him leave the WWF for good. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall's run in the WWF was short one after Nash got hurt during a live Raw taping that put him out of action. Scott Hall not wanting to go without his friend decided to leave the System, and The WWF all together! Just when everybody thought that The System was going down it got three MAJOR additions when not only did Rick Rude who just recently became the IC champion when he defeated Sami Zayn at Hell in a Cell more on that later, but they also added the hottest tag team in all of wrestling THE BAR! Sheamus and Cesaro who is loan from RoH shocked the wrestline world at No Mercy when they became the new WWF Tag Team Champions. The System has their hands on every major title in the WWF except for one and that is The United States Title. The System has promised to take that title. They tried to get The champion Chris Benoit to join but instead he turned down the offer, and got a System beatdown for the decision. Now The System is promising a new member to take the US title, but whoever that is to be seen. Adam Cole is right now in a very intense feud with Randy Orton! At Survivor Series the night before. The Biggest shock came when Randy Orton had survived The Main Event Survivor Series Match and in winning the match is promised the next WWF Title Shot at the next PPV.
The IC Title was won by Sami Zayn in a very shocking match against Kurt Angle. Sami had a nice run as the champion but it wasn't meant to be though as he meant the debuting Rick Rude. He got the title shot when his manager Bobby Heenan made the match happen. Rick defeated Sami at No Mercy, and on the Raw following Rude joined The System. Bobby who in return for the trade for the services of Rick Rude has joined the commentary booth with Gorilla Monsoon.
Jesse Ventura has been fired from the booth. On The Raw following No Mercy. Jesse was seen throwing a fit about the System and this led to Jack Tunney giving him an ultimatum either quit talking down about The System and their Champion Adam Cole, or leave the booth. Jesse being the one to never back down he told Jack Tunney that he was leaving the booth but in his closing statement he promised that he would make Jack Tunney pay one way or the other!
The Tag Team Championships are now being held by The Bar! They were given a Title shot at Hell in a Cell when they won the belts. After joining The System they have just been on an absolute tear. They can't be touched or even be equaled to. They have been steamrolling the tag team division, and show no signs of stopping.
The WWF has decided to get rid the Hardcore Division and will be going back to the Cruiserweight Division. No telling to when these changes will happen but expect a lot of the hardcore superstars to be sent packing and replaced with cruiserweights.
Bret Hart made his WWF return as the last man to be introduced for Randy Orton's Avengers team! Bret looked impressive in the match and where he will fit in will be seen.
The Undertaker and Paul Bearer have yet to be seen since putting Sting in a casket at SummerSlam! The world backstage is that Taker is being kept off television to grow out his hair and go back to the deadman gimmick. Sting is said to be taking time off cause he had to have surgery on his ankle that he had been putting off for quite some time. Both men are said to be nearing their return at anytime.
Eddie Guerrero has shown a mean streak in recent months. He turned his back on his team at Survivor Series and ended up costing Chris Benoit the match on their team and leaving the victory to Arn Anderson and his team.
John Cena hasn't been seen at all since his loss at SummerSlam has he been filming some movies and staying busy. Word is that he won't be back until The Royal Rumble.
Ric Flair who decided to end The Horsemen has been a bit of a slump recently. He has taken some big loses. He lost to Adam Cole at Hell in a Cell, and was the first eliminated in the Main Event Survivor Series Match. Word backstage is that Flair isn't happy about the recent booking and is looking for a way out of the WWF. He is said to be very upset in the WWF ending The Four Horsemen and getting rid of his close friend Barry Windham, but this remains to be seen as it seems the WWF wants to set up Ric Flair against John Cena at the Rumble. No word if this match will happen or if Flair will end up leaving the WWF next month and getting traded in.
This is the rundown and now coming up will be the Raw right after Survivor Series!
