Cue the lights, cue the video package, and cue the pyro! We are live for another episode of RoH TV as Shinedown’s Devour blares through the opening video.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to RoH TV! Mauro Ranallo here, joined as always by my broadcast partner Corey Graves! We are live here at the Joe in Detroit Michigan!
Graves: Last week, not only did we see the a new reincarnation of Evolution with Triple H and the Kings of Wrestling, but we also saw the debut of Kane who came out to the ring to save Seth Rollins and Finn Balor from a 3-on-2 assault!
Ranallo: Why did Kane decide to help Seth Rollins and Finn Balor? I’m sure we’ll find out tonight! We also have the big news that Finn Balor will be taking on Cesaro tonight in our main event!
Graves: That’s not all! In 3 weeks at Unauthorized, Brock Lesnar will get another opportunity at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship when he takes on Shinsuke Nakamura in a no disqualification match!
Ranallo: There must be a winner after their last match ended in a controversial No Contest ruling from the referee. This time, there will be no such call and if Nakamura can’t continue, he’ll lose the title by forfeit!
Dean Ambrose vs. Austin Aries
Aries and Ambrose start off tonight’s broadcast, meeting for the second time in as many weeks. More of the same from last week in terms of Ambrose and Aries putting on a PPV quality match, with Ambrose working a quick and frantic style of wrestling, while Aries uses his speed and technical skill to keep Ambrose subdued for the most part. There is no outside interference this time around, as Bobby Roode does not come down to the ring during this match as he did last week. The finish of this matches comes when Aries sets Ambrose up for the Brainbuster, but Ambrose slides out behind him, spinning Aries around and hitting the Dirty Deeds for the 1, 2, 3!
Winner: Dean Ambrose by pinfall
Ambrose celebrates his victory after the match, but is attacked from behind by an angry Austin Aries. Angry for losing, Aries takes Ambrose down with a Rolling Elbow to the back of the head, and begins to stomp on the body of Ambrose. Boos from the crowd reign down as the camera shows Bobby Roode heading down to the ring with a steel chair in his hands. Roode slides in to the ring, as Aries continues to beat down Ambrose, keeping the Lunatic Fringe grounded and unable to fight back. As Roode gets in to the ring, Ambrose grabs Aries’ leg, pulling him to the ground and mounting him for an attack which is quickly stopped thanks to a steel chair across the back of Ambrose courtesy of Bobby Roode. Ambrose rolls around in agony as Roode orders Aries to get himself a chair as well. As Aries rolls back in to the ring, armed with his own chair, Ambrose hos gotten himself up to his knees. Ambrose looks at Roode, he looks back at Aries, telling them both to ”Bring it on!” as they stand on either side of him wielding the solid steel chairs. Roode and Aries ready themselves to attack Ambrose when suddenly….
BURN IT DOWN!
Seth Rollins comes charging down to the ring, carrying his own steel chair! Rollins sides in to the ring, he ducks under a chair swing from Aries, and returns the favour by catching him right in the back with a chair shot of his own, Rollins then drives the steel chair in to the stomach of Roode, before landing a chair shot to his back as well as Roode and Aries both quickly retreat to the outside, and head back up the ramp. Rollins turns his attention to Ambrose who slowly gets up to his feet, but doesn’t look too thrilled to see Seth Rollins standing there. Ambrose can be heard shouting at Rollins ”I didn’t need your help!” as he exits the ring as well, leaving a confused Seth Rollins standing in the ring alone.
{We head backstage to see Goldust hanging out on his own, stretching. Goldust soon stops and looks up. The camera pans back to see Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks standing in front of him. Quickly, Goldust takes a step back towards the wall and raises his arms up, ready to defend himself from the 3-on-1 attack that is about to happen at any moment. Kenny Omega just simply laughs.}
Omega: Goldy, relax. We aren’t here to hurt you man, we just want to have a chat with you. You’re Cody Rhodes’ brother Goldy, and although he may have crossed a line when he hit me with the CrossRhodes at War of the Worlds, he is still our brother, which makes you our brother too! Picture it Goldust, you trade in the gold and black for our white….and black, so really only a minor change for you my friend. Cody is just lost, he’s confused and he needs a little guidance back home with us where he belongs. I feel that if you were to help us show him the way, maybe he would be a little less hesitant to come back to The Bullet Club? Of course, this would mean that we would take care of you and Brandi as well.
Matt Jackson: Bullet Club 4-Life!
Nick Jackson: That mean forever Goldust!
Goldust: You want me to join the Bullet Club? Listen I’ve see what you guys do. I’ve seen what your morals are, and I’m pretty sure there is a reason that Cody decided he no longer wants to associate with you guys! As far as I’m concerned, I’m here for my brother and if Cody wants out, then I’m out too!
Omega: I don’t think you realise what we are offering you Goldy. This is a chance to get away from everything that’s been forced on you over the years. A chance to recreate yourself in any image you’d like just as long as it represents the interests of The Bullet Club and it’s Elite, did we mention we’d want you to be part of The Elite? Strip away the golden face paint, the wigs, and the gimmicks, come join us. Be whoever you want to be, be yourself, be Dustin!
There’s a pause as Goldust looks to be really thinking over the last part of Kenny Omega’s offer. Omega goes to speak again, but then does a quick look around the area before continuing.
Omega: Come with us, lets speak about this is further detail, somewhere a little more, private.
Goldust walks off with the three members of The Elite as we fade out to our first commercial break of the evening.
[COMMERCIAL]
We return from commercial break to see Seth Rollins walking backstage.
Ambrose: What the hell was that?
An angry Dean Ambrose is seen rushing in to view of the camera.
Rollins: You mean thank you for coming out there and saving you?
Ambrose: No, I don’t! I don’t want, nor do I need your help! I can deal with it on my own, what part of I want nothing to do with you do you not understand? What, you think just because Triple H isn’t here tonight that you need to put yourself in the middle of someone else’s business?
Rollins: If I didn’t go out there, they would have ended your career!
Ambrose: Oh yeah, you’ve done a whole hell of a lot worse to me, yet I’m still standing here! Seth, I’m not going to say it again, I don’t want anything to do with you! Let me make myself perfectly clear to you Rollins. The next time you come rushing out there swinging a chair around, you better hit me too, but if I see you involved in my business again you’ll have another problem on your hands, me!
Ambrose storms off as we head to the ring for our next match of the night.
Pete Dunne vs. Moose
If Moose Wins, He Becomes #1 Contender for the Television Championship
Titus O’Neil makes his way down to the ring before the start of the match, much to the dismay of Moose who had told him last week he didn’t need a manager. Dunne comes up very aggressive in this match, building off a strong performance in the Best of 7 series, but Moose has everything to prove and major opportunity on hand. Dunne looks to have the match in the bag, but can’t muster up the strength to pick up Moose for the Bitter End. This buys Moose the opening he needs to take control of the match and nail Dunne with the Hitstick, covering him for the 1, 2, 3! Moose is now the number one contender for the RoH Television Championship!
Winner: Moose by pinfall
Moose begins celebrating as Titus rolls in to the ring with a microphone yelling ”Future TV Champion!” over and over as a confused Pete Dunne looks on. Dunne and Titus get in to an off the mic exchange over Moose’s number one contender status, as the microphone picks up Dunne telling Titus he never agreed to that match stipulation, having only agreed to a regular singles match. Over hearing this, Moose confronts both men looking incredibly pissed off. Seeing a moment to step in and impress his new boss, James Ellsworth appears out on the top of the stage with a microphone in his hand.
Ellsworth: Ellsworth: Gentlemen, gentlemen. The referee’s decision is final, Moose is the winner of this match! However, neither Nigel McGuinness or myself approved the stipulation of putting Pete Dunne’s number one contender status on the line for this match, therefore, Pete Dunne is still the number one contender and will face Marty Scurll for the Television Championship at Unauthorized in three weeks!
Enraged, Moose confronts Titus about lying to him, but Titus tries to cover it up by claiming this to be the work of RoH management trying to keep them down. Hearing enough, Moose shows Titus to the ground in a fit of rage and heads towards the entrance ramp, but not before catching a gloating Pete Dunne with a second Hitstick on the way out.

The Ascension vs. War Machine
Another week, another display of carnage and demolition by War Machine. Their victims this week are The Ascension. Konnor and Viktor look to be the first real challenge this team has faced in 2-on-2 competition, but that idea falls short rather quickly as once War Machine take control of this match, they never let it go. War Machine get the win after Raymond Rowe’s Death Rowe in to the Spin Kick of Doom by Hanson land them the easy 1, 2, 3!
Winners: War Machine by pinfall
{We head backstage to newly appointed Commissioner, Nigel McGuinness standing inside his office with RoH General Manager James Ellsworth.}
Ellsworth: What did you think? I defused that situation pretty effortlessly and made a big title match for Unauthorized, pretty impressive performance so far right?
McGuinness: I’d say you did an admirable job of not holding the show up, but anyone could walk out there and say what you did. The fact you seemed to miss is that Moose was somehow manipulated in to taking this match under false pretences, either by Titus O’Neil, Pete Dunne or one of us. Now I know that I have scolded you over your desire to give everyone title shots for no apparent reason, but do you think maybe Moose deserves something?
Ellsworth: You’re right! Moose should take on Titus next week with the winner getting Pete Dunne’s number one contendership status!
Nigel stares at Ellsworth blankly.
McGuinness: Or you could give Moose a Non-title match against Marty Scurll next week. If Moose can beat Scurll then he would be deserving of a title match after having victories over both Dunne and the Champion himself. I would even go so far as to say that if Moose can defeat Marty Scurll next week, we can have ourselves…..
Ellsworth: A Triple Threat match at Unauthorized for the Television Championship! Wow, how did I ever think of that one so quickly! See Nigel! I told you, I’m going to do a great job this month! Well I guess I should go inform Moose!
Ellsworth rushes off as Nigel just looks on in disbelief of what he’s just been through. Nigel chuckles to himself and shakes his head as he pulls out his phone in begins to text as we fade out to our next match of the evening.
Cody Rhodes vs. Zack Sabre, Jr.
Zack Sabre, Jr, makes his first RoH appearance since losing match #7 at War of the Worlds, but it’s more of the same of the technical genius in this match. Sabre and Cody match their styles to put on an incredibly hard hitting and technically sound match. At one point, Sabre manages to get Cody Rhodes in the Jim Breaks Armbar, but Cody is able to get to the ropes before the hold can be properly sunk in. The finish comes after Rhodes is able to roll out of the way of a Flying Crossbody by Sabre, and catch him as he gets up to his feet with a CrossRhodes for the 1, 2, 3!
Winner: Cody Rhodes by pinfall.
Omega: Bravo! Bravo! Very well done!
As Cody celebrates his victory in the ring, the voice of Kenny Omega is heard echoing over the arena loud speaker, cutting off Rhodes’ music, and drawing his attention to the stage, where Kenny Omega is now standing with a smug look on his face.
Omega: Another impressive victory Cody, you’ve really done well for yourself since you’ve come here to RoH, I’m impressed, WE’RE impressed!
Omega looks back towards the curtain as The Young Bucks slowly make their way out to the ring to stand on either side of Kenny Omega. The three members of The Elite then slowly begin making their way down to the ring.
Omega: We’ve watched your last two matches here Cody, and the three of us feel like we need to offer you a chance to wipe the slate clean here. Cody, what I am about to offer you, is something you should feel very special about, because I would NEVER do this for anyone else. Cody, I am willing to forget what happened at War of the Worlds. I am willing to pretend you never attacked us, that you never gave me the CrossRhodes. I’m offering you a fresh start, and all you have to do is come back to The Bullet Club!
Now in the ring, Omega extends his hand to Rhodes. Cody look at it, weighing his options as the fans boo and scream not to do it. Rhodes goes to shake Omega’s hand, before pulling his arm back and shaking his head “no”.
Omega: No? Cody, I don’t think you understand what I am offering to you here! You’ve made your bed Cody Rhodes, you turned on your brothers, and you made your choice! Well, your choice has consequences, and those consequences effect everyone, not just you, but the people you associate yourself with as well!
Kenny points to the stage as Marty Scurll, Will Ospreay and the Guerillas of Destiny appear at the top of the stage. Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa appear dragging out the unconscious body of Goldust with them, while Marty Scurll and Will Ospreay have a hold of Cody’s wife Brandi Rhodes. Cody is beside himself in the ring as he sees his brother and his wife in danger. Trying to get out of the ring, Rhodes is blocked by The Elite who begin to circle Rhodes.
Omega: You turned your back on us Cody, now your whole family will pay for your treason!
The Young Bucks catch Cody Rhodes off guard with a double Superkick, knocking him down to the ground as they pounce on him. On the outside, the G.O.Ds set up Goldust for a Nightfall on top of the stage. Omega grabs the half conscious Cody Rhodes, and hold him up, screaming for him to watch what happens next to his family. Before the G.O.Ds can execute their finishing move on Goldust, The New Day come charging out from the back to make the save! Big E and Kofi tackle the G.O.D.s, causing them to drop Goldust, and Xavier Woods tosses Will Ospreay in to the stage before chasing Marty Scurll to the back. Turning their attention to The Elite in the ring, New Day charge down towards the ring, but Omega and The Bucks retreat through the crowd before New Day can reach them. After helping Cody up to his feet, Rhodes and New Day stand tall in the middle of the ring as we fade out to another commercial break.
[COMMERCIAL]
As we return from commercial, we head to the back where RoH’s official full-time interviewer Charly Caruso is standing by for her first interview since officially signing her RoH contract this morning.
Caruso: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, Bobby Roode! Bobby, over the past few weeks, your rivalry with Dean Ambrose has grown in to a more physical war including the addition of Austin Aries who has seemingly returned to Ring of Honor to team up with you against Ambrose. Earlier tonight, Seth Rollins came down to the ring after Aries and Ambrose’s most recent match, attacking both Aries and yourself with a steel chair in order to even the odds. Are you concerned with Seth Rollins’ decision to get involved tonight even though Dean Ambrose has refused his help time and time again?
Roode: Charly, Seth Rollins wants to come out here and attack Austin Aries and I for one reason and one reason only. Seth Rollins is afraid of Triple H and he feels the only person stupid enough to help him would be Dean Ambrose! Well Rollins, what you did tonight was make two more enemies, and judging by what Ambrose said to you earlier, you still haven’t made any friends! I just got back from Nigel McGuinness’ office, and next week Rollins, you’ve got a match one-on-one with me! So here’s my challenge Rollins, leave your ex-girlfriend Dean Ambrose in the back and see if you can beat me one-on-one, but I’ve got a little spoiler for you. You see, at the end of our match, you’ll be lying flat on your back and as for me? I’ll be the same as I always am, simply GLORIOUS!
{We head to ringside where Mike Bennett is currently standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in his hand. He is joined as always by his beautiful wife Maria Kanellis.}
Bennett: Last week after I beat yet another worthless opponent, I stood out here and I told each and every one of you that I’ve put that overweight, out of shape, excuse for a professional wrestler Colt Cabana in the rear-view and that I am now fully focused on once again getting a shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship! Tonight, I’m out here to officially start that climb back up to the top of the RoH roster by issuing an open challenge to anyone in this arena tonight that thinks they have what it takes to try and go toe-to-toe with me. Call it an open challenge if you will, but the only real challenge is how quickly I can beat you without breaking a sweat!
Just then a strange tune begins to play from the arena speakers as out from the back comes a slightly overweight man wearing only black wrestling trunks and a black and gold Lucha mask. The man makes his way down to the ring, being introduced to the RoH audience as ‘Matt Classic” as he dances his way down to the ring. The camera pans over to Mike Bennett and Maria who are trying, but failing to hold back their laughter as Classic gets in to the ring looking ready to fight.
Mike Bennett vs. Matt Classic
The bell rings and Bennett rushes Matt Classic. Bennett proceeds to beat the living hell out of his opponent as Classic offers little to no offense in this match. At one point, Bennett whips Classic in to the ropes, and Classic surprises everyone with body countering a body drop attempt by Bennett in to a DDT! The crowd slowly begins to get behind the ridiculously looking jobber as Classic gets a small window of offense on the surprised Mike Bennett before Bennett uses his wife Maria as a distraction to get himself back in control of the match. The finish comes when Bennett tries to hit Classi with the Power of Love, but Classic reverses out of the move and lands a jumping Stunner that sends Bennett flying back to the mat. Seeing her husband in trouble, Maria hops back up on the apron again to distract Matt Classic, but this time Classic grabs her and plants a big kiss right on the lips of Maria! Seeing this, Bennett rushes over to Classic, who side steps Bennett and rolls him up for a 1, 2, 3! The crowd goes absolutely crazy as Matt Classic just pulled out a major win over a stunned Mike Bennett!
Winner: Matt Classic by pinfall
Classic makes his way up the ramp celebrating his major victory as Bennett looks on in shock as his wife tries desperately to console him. Classic suddenly stops at the top of the stage and turns his attention back towards the ring. Very slowly he reaches to the back of his head and pulls off the mask, revealing himself as none other than…..
COLT CABANA!
Bennett and Maria can’t believe it as Colt Cabana stares back at them with a satisfied look on his face. Mike Bennett may believe he’s left Cabana in his rear-view, but it appears Colt Cabana isn’t finished with Bennett just yet!
[COMERCIAL]
Finn Balor vs. Cesaro w/ Chris Hero
The number 2 pick in the RoH roster draft vs. one half of the RoH Tag Team Champions as these two face off for the first time in RoH tonight in our main event, and boy do they deliver! Balor and Cesaro give it everything they’ve got in this match, with Chris Hero not letting anyone forget about his presence at ringside either, finding any opportunity to get involved when Cesaro looks to need any help. Hero’s interference ends up being the downfall of his tag partner though, as Balor sends Cesaro in to his partner, knocking Hero off the apron, and allowing Balor to toss Cesaro in to the corner and nail the running dropkick, before climbing up top and hitting the Coup de Grace for the win.
Winner: Finn Balor by pinfall
After the match, Hero slides back in to the ring and levels Balor with a forearm to the side of the head, as he begins to beat on Balor until Cesaro can regain consciousness and join in. The Kings of Wrestling continue to beat down on Finn Balor until a loud explosion is heard coming from the top of the stage.
That explosion is followed by the tune of Kane’s entrance theme as the Big Red Machine makes his way down to the ring following the main event for the second straight week. Cesaro rushes Kane as he gets in to the ring, but eats a Big Boot for his troubles. Hero is next, but falls victim to a Chokeslam.
As Cesaro and Hero roll out of the ring, Balor slowly gets to his feet and turns around to be right in the face of Kane. Backing up, Balor is unsure of Kane’s next move. Just then, Kane steps towards Balor, he bends over and picks up on of the RoH Tag Titles that the champions had left in the ring. Holding it high above his head, Kane shouts at Balor this is what he wants as RoH TV fades to a close, completing yet another week of action packed wrestling!
**END OF THE SHOW**
