RoH News: Hulk Hogan, Kane, Myster Superstars & MORE!
August 21st, 2017: RoH Insider
Some News and notes as we head in to War of the Worlds weekend:
- Both RoH crew and management have absolutely loved their time in London. Talks surrounding the trip is that this could become a yearly thing.
- There aren't many backstage who were all that upset to see JBL leave, and many have welcomed the addition of Kane with open arms. JBL was seen my most as a bitter veteran who was more concerned with complaining about not being on TV than spending any actual time helping out younger talent. Kane, who has been at all RoH events since the trade was announced, has spent most of his time working with the younger talent, Finn Balor in particular.
- Speaking of Kane, there is no major surprises planned for his RoH debut. Kane is expected to be on RoH TV either this Saturday, or the following Wednesday on RoH TV.
- Rumours of Hulk Hogan's WWF release have met conflicting reports lately. A recent story has surfaced online saying the reason Hulk Hogan was let go from WWF was actually because of a failed physical on WWF's end that put an end to any potential deals. The superstar in question who failed his physical is rumored to be the superstar originally planned for this Saturday night's mystery promo reveal, meaning RoH has had to scramble to fit a new star in to that reveal as opposed to ending the whole thing before it took off.
- Bobby Fish's concussion problems may have the superstar out long term. With RoH wanting to continue the reDRagon/Dudley storyline there have been reports that RoH has been agressively targeting Adam Cole to replace Fish and reform FutureShock with Kyle O'Reilly. Once source is doubtful of this rumour stating "RoH has a better chance of landing CM Punk."
- A report leaked over the weekend that RoH stil hasn't signed the female superstar from the mystery promos to a contract, and officials are frantically trying to piece together who will fit in that position. With this news as well as the news of WWF's deal falling through, we may be disappointed by this Saturday's not so "big reveal".
- Word is Bubba and D-Von has reacted very positively to being taken off tv this month due to Bobby Fish's injury. Word is Bubba would definitely be welcomed to the creative side of things when his career eventually slows down.
