Cue the lights, cue the video package, and cue the pyro! We are live for another episode of RoH TV as Shinedown’s Devour blares through the opening video.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a very special RoH TV! Mauro Ranallo here, joined as always by my broadcast partner Corey Graves! We are live tonight for the very first time at the O2 Arena in London, England!
Graves: We’re in London Mauro! We’re tired, we’re jet legged, and we’re coming off a 2 night PPV All-Star Extravaganza, but we are in London!
I’M BACK!
AND BETTER THAN EVER!
Almost as expected, our first segment of the night sees the owner of RoH coming down to the ring to address the London audience. RoH is in England for the first time ever, so it’s only fitting that Bischoff would want to steal some of the spotlight.
Bischoff: London, England! ***The crowd roars*** It’s great to say we have finally brought Ring of Honor here for the first time ever! Now, I’m not going to sit here and bore you with the details, but we have an amazing night planned for you guys tonight! Before we begin, I want to introduce to you the man who made this all possible, the man who will take the reins of this project and completely oversee every aspect of the companies weekly operation from now until War of the Worlds, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, your native son!
The music of James Ellsworth plays through the speakers which is met with a chorus of boo’s from the crowd. He was clearly not the superstar they expected to see at this moment.
Ellsworth: Thank you Eric! That’s probably the nicest thing you’ve ever said to me. I can’t believe we’re here in London! I mean, somehow my flight ticket got canceled and I had to borrow some money from Shinsuke Nakamura to get here on time, but I made it and I have an amazing night in store for you tonight! First off, Pentagon, Jr. makes his in ring debut against Zack Sabre, Jr. in a battle of the juniors! Then, Team Tremendous will get a shot at the RoH Tag Team Championships against The Young Bucks! And in our main event…..
Bischoff: James, what the hell are you doing?
Ellsworth: What do you mean? I’m doing my job, making things happen, just like you said?
Bischoff: James, last night Pentagon, Jr. made his RoH debut, conveniently enough during your match with Braun Strowman. Now, I told you on Saturday that if you didn’t have your match against Strowman, I was going to fire you.
Ellsworth: Eric I tried to wrestle my match! It wasn’t my fault that Braun ran away, I shouldn’t be punished for that, that wasn’t my fault! Please, I…..I really need this job, I can’t go back to living at my mom’s house again, she….she abuses me Eric!
Bischoff: James, I can’t prove that you have anything to do with what happened between Braun Strowman and Pentagon, Jr. last night. Truthfully, I don’t think you’re smart enough to even come out with that kind of an idea, but the fact is you didn’t wrestle the match and that has its consequences. James, from now until after War of the Worlds, you are suspended! If you don’t leave the arena right now, if you don’t go home, you’re fired! I don’t want to see you here until after the PPV, do I make myself clear?
Ellsworth pleads with Bischoff, but Eric refuses to give in. Defeated, Ellsworth slumps his shoulders and slowly walks up the ramp as the English crowd serenade him to the back.
Bischoff: Now, like I was saying, you’re native son, Nigel McGuinness!
McGuinness: Thank you Mr. Bischoff! I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to oversee the Ring of Honor roster this month while you enjoy a much needed vacation. As like James Ellsworth said, we do have a major night in store for you tonight, but none of those silly matches he mentioned before. Tonight, in our main event The Young Bucks will indeed defend their Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships against The New Day and The Kings of Wrestling who have most certainly earned themselves a title shot after beating Triple H and Seth Rollins! Also tonight we are going to hold own ”Nigel McGuinness Contract Opportunity Challenge” that I promise you will not be laughable like most of Sir Ellsworth’s previous challenges have been. With that, I wish you all a great night, please enjoy the show we have put together for you!
Nigel goes to leave the ring when suddenly, the music of Mike Bennett begins to play. Bennett does not look happy as he storms down to the ring with his wife Maria in tow.
Bennett: That’s it? That’s your show tonight? So once again I am overlooked! Once again, after breaking my back to win matches here against the top stars in Ring of Honor, I am overlooked by management. I demanded that I be given a shot at the RoH World Championship tonight at the latest or else I’m leaving. I have a contract here in my hand Nigel that I signed last night! The choice if yours now since you’ve been placed in charge Nigel, I get my title shot tonight, or I fax this contract and I’m on a new show next week!
The music of Dean Ambrose plays as he comes out to an enormous reaction form the London crowd.
Ambrose: Hi Nigel, I’m Dean Ambrose. Unlike this guy over here I actually EARNED a shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship when I basically beat the Champion on Saturday night. I mean, I may not have been the one to score the actual pinfall, but it was my Dirty Deeds that ended the match, so really I think I’m slightly ahead of the pack here. ***Turns to Bennett** That little contract you’ve got there? You left it out on the catering table early today and I had to use part of it there as a napkin. You see that spot? Yeah, that one right there, sloppy joes. Anyway Nigel, I’m going to help you call Bennett’s bluff since it’s your first night as active GM and make it a little easier for you, it’s not real. The contract is fake, he’s got nowhere to go, he knows it, and so he can wait a little longer for his title shot. I’m next!
GLORIOUS!
NO I WON’T GIVE IN, I WON’T GIVE IN
‘TILL I’M VICTORIOUS
AND I WILL DEFEND, I WILL DEFEND!
Roode: I can’t believe what I’m hearing. Dean Ambrose, you haven’t earned anything around here other than that ass kicking I gave you backstage last night! And Bennett? Well, take a seat kid because you deserve a title shot even less that Ambrose does! Big deal, you beat Finn Balor a bunch of weeks ago, who hasn’t beaten Finn Balor lately? Last I checked, I was the one who pinned the Ring of Honor World Champion on Saturday night, I was the captain of Team GLORIOUS, and I am the one who should get the next shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship! Not Bennett, not Ambrose, hell not even Brock Lesnar, me!
McGuinness: Gentlemen, gentlemen please settle down. We are making history here tonight in London and I refuse to let this show go off the rails. For the rest of this month I am in charge of what is going on here, and I, unlike James Ellsworth don’t just give away title shots without putting the proper thought in to things. So this is what is going to happen…
Bennett: I’ll save you from droning on, because people are starting to lose interest. You’re giving me the title shot tonight or else I’m walking out of here and you’re going to lose your only star on this roster!
McGuinness: Bennett I’m not giving you a damn thing! **The Crowd cheers** I may be new at this, but I’m not an idiot! I looked over your contract and I know that if you walk away from Ring of Honor and show up anywhere else before you 90 day non-compete clause is up, we will sue you for every penny you’re worth! Therefore you have two options, go work somewhere else while we sit here and collect every penny you make for the next year, or shut your bloody mouth and listen to what I have to say! Tonight, nobody gets a title shot! Nakamura was given the night off, because I knew this was going to happen and so I came out here prepared. You see we already have a main event Triple Threat match for the RoH World Tag titles, but since we are making history tonight, why not have a second main event? Tonight here in London, it will be Mike Bennett vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Bobby Roode with the winner of this match getting their title shot against Shinsuke Nakamura next week!

Jay Briscoe vs. Pentagon, Jr.
A battle of the big bruisers you could call this, if either superstar was over 6’1”. Briscoe and Pentagon work a very stiff match with bother superstars getting solid offensive spots and multiple near falls which is rare for an opening match, but hey we are making history tonight right? Briscoe sets Pentagon up for the Jay Driller, but Penta slides out and takes Jay down with and STO, keeping his grip on Briscoe’s arm though as Pentagon sets up for The Scarfice. Knowing what happened to Braun Strowman last night, Briscoe verbally submits to the referee, but Pentagon snaps his arm back anyways.
Winner: Pentagon, Jr. by verbal submission.
The Dudley Boyz vs. Art of Flight
A solid back and forth tag match for the most part as The Dudleyz show they still have no problems hanging with much smaller opponents, working a very entertaining match with Sydal and Ricochet until Bubba is able to ground Ricochet. The Dudleyz take turns working over Ricochet until they hit him with the 3D for the 1,2,3!
Winners: The Dudley Boyz by pinfall.
After the match, Bubba Ray and Devon continue to beat down on Sydal and Ricochet. Bubba tells Devon to get the tables.
Devon brings the table in the ring, and Bubba goes picks up Matt Sydal, wanting to 3D him through the table, but Sydal is saved by Kyle O’Reilly who comes charging down in to the ring and begins brawling with Bubba. With Sydal and Ricochet hurt, O’Reilly quickly falls victim to the numbers game as Devon and Bubba begin to work him over. O’Reilly’s heroic actions fall short, as he becomes The Dudley’s victim instead, being 3D’d through the table in place of Matt Sydal.

Nigel McGuinness Contract Opportunity Challenge
Corey Graves in standing in the ring with acting General Manager Nigel McGuinness who welcomes everyone to his version of James Ellsworth’s Contract Opportunity Challenge. Nigel gives credit to the brief underdog run of Greg Roberts before pointing out that James Ellsworth never really gave any one a chance, as most of the time their opponent was Braun Strowman. Nigel declares that ends tonight as he introduces the opponent for tonight’s match, RoH Television Champion, Marty Scurll.
After Scurll gets in to the ring, Nigel tells the RoH crowd that since they are in London he thought that Scurll’s opponent should also be a local wrestler as well. Nigel promises the RoH audience that no matter what happens tonight he promises this would be the most impressive Contract Challenge yet. Nigel then introduces tonight’s challenger.
WILL OSPREAY!
Marty Scurll © vs. Will Ospreay
Non-Title Match: If Ospreay Wins, He’ll Receive an Official RoH Contract
Ospreay looks good early getting in a surprising amount of offense while frustrating the champion in the process. A little too much showboating by Ospreay to his native English crowd allows Scurll the opportunity to take control of the match, really bringing the pain to Will Ospreay who tries hard to fight back, but is over powered by the champion. Scurll locks Ospreay in the Crossface Chickenwing, but before Ospreay can tap out, the music of The Bullet Club hits the arena speakers. Confused, Scurll breaks his hold on Ospreay and turns his attention towards the ramp where Roderick Strong appears on the top of the stage holding up a Bullet Club T-shirt. Strong and Scurll begin to exchange words, when Strong rips the shirt in half, visibly angering Scurll. At this moment, Scurll is spun around by Will Ospreay who hits the OsCutter on Scurll for a 1,2,3! Will Ospreay has upset the champion and earned himself a RoH Contract! The crowd is going nuts as Ospreay jumps in over the barricade to celebrate his major victory with the fans.
Winner: Will Ospreay by pinfall.
Mike Bennett w/ Maria vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Bobby Roode
Winner Gets a RoH World Title Shot Next Week
Bennett begins shouting at Roode and Ambrose right at the start of the match. He begins to berate both superstars for trying to steal his spotlight, and informs them neither man deserves a RoH title shot as much as he does. This causes Ambrose and Roode to both rush Bennett, beating him down in to the corner before tossing him out of the ring. This leaves Ambrose and Roode alone in the ring to officially start the match, and both men then proceed to beat the hell out of each other. Ambrose gets the advantage first, then Roode as both superstar show zero regard for each other’s safety, just trying to really injure the other. Roode dropkicks Ambrose, who hits the ropes and leans back for a Lunatic Lariat, but Bennett grabs him from outside of the ring, and pulls him to the floor. Bennett then proceeds to beat Ambrose down on the outside, before tossing him head first in to the barricade and sliding in the ring after Roode. Bennett and Roode start to go at it in the ring. An evenly paced match up as both superstars have very similar styles and it really works. Bennett goes for the MIP, but Roode slides out and goes for the Glorious DDT. Bennett is able to push himself out of the way, and save himself. At the same moment, Ambrose has now rejoined the fight and just begins to throw punches in whatever direction he can. Bennett and Roode momentarily work together to double Irish while Ambrose in to the ropes, but Ambrose rebounds back with a double Lunatic Lariat.
Looking around, Ambrose quickly pushes Bennett out of the ring, electing to land the final blow on his new rival Bobby Roode. Ambrose pulls Roode to his feet, but Roode knees Ambrose in the stomach and goes for a Glorious DDT. Ambrose however reverses it and lands the Dirty Deeds on Roode.
Ambrose goes to pin Roode, but is stopped when Maria jumps up on the apron and begins to shake her body around, trying to distract Ambrose, and stop him from possibly winning this match.
Maria’s distraction works, as Ambrose is distracted just long enough for Mike Bennett to roll back in to the ring, remove Bobby Roode and nail Ambrose with the Miracle in Progress for the 1,2,3! Mike Bennett finally gets his shot against Shinsuke Nakamura next week on RoH TV!
Winner: Mike Bennett by pinfall.
We head backstage to Nigel McGuinness’ office, which is much nicely furnished than Ellsworth’s for the record. Nigel is sitting at his desk reading a novel when there is a knock at the door.
McGuinness: Yes? Come in!
You can hear the sound of the door open, and the roar of the audience as Paul Heyman appears on camera, walking in to view.
McGuinness: Paul, welcome! What can I do for you?
Heyman: Oh no no, you seem to be mistaken Nigel. You see there is nothing you can do for me. I flew here first class, I’m very well compensated with my new contract and I’ve been treated with the upmost respect by everyone since Eric Bischoff signed me to this promotion. You would say that I’m ecstatic with my current situation, so there is nothing you can possibly do for me. I’m here to tell you what you can do for my client Brock Lesnar, and what my client can do for you Nigel.
McGuinness: I’m listening Paul, it’s only a two hour show, so you might want to get on with it.
Heyman: My apologies, I understand you must be very busy with your new temporary role here, well I’m hoping it’s a little more than temporary, the class and sophistication you bring to the table is a very refreshing breath of fresh air over James Ellsworth. Anyways Nigel, my client, Brock Lesnar wants you to know that he has already made the flight to London, about 3 weeks earlier than expected and though he’s not in the arena tonight, he’s been watching very closely. Now my client, Brock Lesnar has informed me that he’s not too happy with your decision to give Mike Bennett a shot against Shinsuke Nakamura next week, because by doing so, you’ve made my client look like a lair.
McGuinness: I’m not sure what you’re talking about Paul, can you elaborate a little for me?
Heyman: Certainly. May I remind you Nigel, that a few weeks ago my client, Brock Lesnar and I came out to that ring and told both Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura that no matter who walked out of All-Star Extravaganza the Ring of Honor World Champion, my client, Brock Lesnar would be waiting for them at War of the Worlds as their next challenger. Their NEXT challenger Nigel, meaning the immediate challenger after said title match. My Client, Brock Lesnar even flew down to Philadelphia on his own dime just to show Shinsuke Nakamura that he is next in line and that he’s ready for a fight, but then tonight happened. You see, by giving Mike Bennett a shot at the RoH World Championship next week, you’ve essentially made him NEXT in line, which would mean Brock was no longer next, and therefore a liar. Not only have you made my client, Brock Lesnar look like a lair, but you have disrespected him by allowing someone else to get a shot at the title before him. My client, Brock Lesnar demands a healthy 100% Shinsuke Nakamura at War of the Worlds and by putting him against Mike Bennett next week, puts that in jeopardy. My client, Brock Lesnar demands you rectify the situation, or Brock may just have to take matters in to his own hands.
McGuinness: Paul, let me make one thing clear to you, I’m not going to be threatened or bullied. If Brock Lesnar has a problem with my decision to grant a deserving superstar an opportunity to become RoH World Champion he can call me himself, better yet, he can come see me if he’s really in London. As for Brock Lesnar taking any matters in to his own hands, Brock has the same contract Mike Bennett has, the same contract that every other RoH superstar has, and the same one you and I have. Brock can’t go bloody anywhere without being sued, so Brock Lesnar won’t take matters in to his own hands next week, or any week while I’m charge, because if your client wants to interfere in my main event next week, I’ll remove him from the Main Event at War of the Worlds and replace him with whomever I see fit. Now, if that’s all I can do for you Paul, I have a show to run.
A sinister smile appears across the face of Paul Heyman.
Heyman: You know, I really like you in this role Nigel, I wish you the best of luck.

Titus O’Neil vs. Moose
Titus O’Neil makes his RoH TV debut after being signed this week, and I’m sure he’s already regretting his decision. O’Neil starts off the match acting very arrogant, throwing taunts and insults towards Moose. Titus locks up with Moose, who tosses him in to the ropes and connects with a Hitstick for a very quick and very easy 3.
Winner: Moose by pinfall.
{We see a limo driving slowly down a narrow path, the limo driver dressed identical to what the mystery man in the previous videos has been wearing.}
Voice: Tick-tock, tick-tock. The time for my arrival grows near….
{The Limo continues along the path, slowly when suddenly the figure of a person appears out in front of the limo.}
Voice: Tick-tock, tick-tock. Everything you thought you knew, you’re life changed forever….
{The limo stops at the non-verbal command of the man in the back seat, and the limo door springs open on its own as the person on the road gets in to the limo as well. This person is a woman, wearing all white to contrast the black of the mystery man, she also has a mask on concealing her identity, but unlike the masks worn by the driver and the man in black, hers is a doll’s mask.}
Voice: I’m not coming alone!
{The limo, now mysteriously out of the woods speeds off down an open highway as the voice of the new mystery female can be heard saying…}
Woman: Brace yourself, your NIGHTMARES are coming!
Voice: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!

New Day w/Xavier Woods vs. Kings of Wrestling vs. The Young Bucks © w/ Kenny Omega
RoH World Tag Team Championship Match
That match is about a wild as you would expect a triple threat tag team match between these 3 teams to be. Kofi and Matt Jackson start off the match which is used as a way to continue building the New Day/Elite feud that gained major momentum after Kenny Omega’s RoH debut last night. Their time in the ring together is cut short however as Chris Hero tags himself in to the match and begins to beat down on Kofi Kingston. Hero and Cesaro show great teamwork with multiple tags to themselves as they work over Kofi, until Kofi is able to roll out of the way of a corner clothesline attempt and tag in Big E. Big E begins cleaning house on Cesaro and Chris Hero with multiple clotheslines and hip tosses, charging off the ropes for a Big Splash that is interrupted when Nick Jackson tags himself in to the match off Big E’s back. Jackson tries to cover Hero, but Big E tosses him off to break up the pin. This causes Matt Jackson to charge in to the ring, followed by Kofi Kingston, followed by Cesaro as all pandemonium breaks loose! A pretty cool moment occurs when Hero, Kofi, Cesaro and Big E all charge towards the Bucks. Matt and Nick take out Big E and Chris Hero with Superkicks while Kofi does the same to Cesaro. The Bucks then turn to Kofi where they nail him with a Superkick, dropping him to the mat before Superkicking him again. Nick covers Kofi.
1………………………….
2……………………………
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Xavier Woods breaks up the pin attempt at the last second, and gets a dual Superkick for his troubles. With all the carnage in the ring, Nick Jackson can’t remember who the legal man is to make the pin. This small moment of confusion allows most of the Superkicked opponents in the ring to regain consciousness. All hell begins to break loose in the ring again as the referee tries drastically to restore order, threatening to throw out the match. Cesaro springs to life and tosses Kofi in to the corner, delivering a running European Uppercut. He then charges towards Big E and delivers a running European Uppercut.
Cesaro quickly turns and catches Matt Jackson with a European Uppercut before sliding out of the ring and giving Kenny Omega a European Uppercut for good measure. With everyone in the ring down except Nick Jackson, Nick begins frantically covering multiple superstars in the ring, trying to get a 3 count before Cesaro can get back in, but the referee refuses to count, informing Nick that none of the downed opponents are legal. Just then, Chris Hero slides back in to the ring and levels Nick Jackson with a KO Rolling Elbow, covering him for the 1,2,3. WE HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS!
Winners: The Kings of Wrestling by pinfall.
The Kings of Wrestling are the NEW RoH World Tag Team Champions
