Cue the lights, cue the pyro! We are live for RoH’s 2nd ever PPV, All-Star Extravaganza, Night #1! The camera pans around the sold out arena, showing the crowd going absolutely crazy, anticipating tonight’s event.
Ranallo: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight is the next. We are live in the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and we’ve got ourselves at packed house tonight! Mauro Ranallo here joined as always by my broadcast partner Corey Graves.
Graves: You mean “The voice of RoH” Corey Graves, I don’t know how many times I need to tell you that Mauro!
Ranallo: We’ve got ourselves a packed card for tonight’s event! The RoH World Tag Team titles will be on the line later tonight with The Young Bucks taking on the winners of a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team match that will take place early in to tonight’s broadcast!
Graves: Don’t forget match #3 in the Best of 7 Series between Zack Sabre, Jr. and “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne! After his win 2 weeks ago on RoH TV, Dunne has tied the series 1-1!
Ranallo: Mike Bennett is also in action tonight, taking on the undefeated Moose! A match I know you’re anxious to see tonight though is Braun Strowman taking on Team Tremendous!
Graves: Once Braun Strowman beats those two clowns easily, he gets a match against James Ellsworth tomorrow night! You’re right, I can’t wait for that one Mauro. I can’t wait for Braun Strowman to finally get rid of that idiot James Ellsworth! I’ve already put my name in with Eric Bischoff to be the next RoH General Manager too!
Ranallo: Well best of luck on that one Corey, you know I’d miss you here in the booth. Speaking of something you can’t miss, tonight’s main event is going to be one for the ages! An All-Star Elimination match pitting Team Strongstyle against Team Glorious! There are going to be many questions answered in that match with Shinsuke Nakamura teaming up with Finn Balor who he will defend his title against tomorrow night! Also Bobby Roode and Dean Ambrose who have been at each other’s throats since Ambrose come to the company!
Graves: What about Seth Rollins and Triple H? Two bitter rivals who have only just recently gotten themselves on the same page, and they will be on opposite teams tonight, only to have to team back up against The Kings of Wrestling tomorrow night as well!
Bobby Fish vs. Bubba Ray Dudley
Partners are Banned from Ringside
Bubba and Fish lock up. Bubba muscles Fish in to the corner and gives him a hard chop to the chest before being backed up by the referee. Bubba charges back in, but meets a boot to the face by Fish, who hops up on the middle rope and jumps towards Bubba, taking him down with a tornado DDT for a one count. Fish tries to pull the much heavier Bubba Ray up to his feet, but Bubba pushes Fish backwards in to the ropes and knocks him down with a solid shoulder block. Bubba sit up Fish before driving his knee in to the spine of Fish. He then takes things too far, disrespecting Fish by slapping him in the back of the head.
Ranallo: Blatant disrespect by Bubba Ray Dudley!
Graves: Veteran maneuver Mauro, get in your opponent’s head early and often!
Fish quickly gets to his feet, hitting Bubba with 3 hard right hands before attempting a spinning forearm shut, but Bubba ducks under it and levels Fish with a hard right to the jaw, knocking him right off his feet. Fish gets up quickly though and locks up with Bubba. Using his speed, Fish spins around to put Bubba in a rear waist lock, but isn’t able to wrestle Bubba to the ground. Unable to reach Fish, Bubba backs himself up, forcing Fish against the ropes, and land a couple sharp elbows to the side of Fish’s head, trying to get him to loosen up him grip. With Fish leaning half over the ropes to avoid Bubba’s elbows, the referee decides to call it a break and separate the two superstars. Fish though quickly rushes back over to Bubba, and ducks a grapple attempt, rolling him up in a school boy pin that gets a 2 count.
Ranallo: Smart thinking by Bobby Fish, but only a two.
Graves: He really caught him by surprise there!
Fish tries to get to his feet quickly, but Bubba is up first and clotheslines him in the back of the head, flattening Fish. Bubba taunts the booing crowd as Bobby Fish lay motionless on the mat, that hard forearm to the back of the head has clearly done some serious damage to Bobby Fish, possibly rendering him unconscious. The referee goes over to check on Fish, but is forced to move away by Bubba who threatens the official with bodily harm if he is to even think of stopping this contest.
Ranallo: Bobby Fish is not moving after that cheap clothesline to the back of the head by Bubba Ray!
Graves: The referee looks like he may want to stop this match, but Bubba is determined to have this match end on his term Mauro.
With Fish unable to fight back, Bubba Ray picks him up, and hits him with a Bubba Cutter before covering Fish for the easy 1,2,3.
Winner: Bubba Ray Dudley by pinfall.
Before the start of the next match, the music of The Young Bucks blares through the arena speakers, as the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions make their way towards the announce booth.
Ranallo: It looks like we’re about to be joined by some very special guests here before the start of the next match!
Graves: They’re special alright Mauro! They are the RoH Tag Team Champions!
Nick Jackson: Corey Graves! What’s up baby!
Matt Jackson: Mauro Ranallooooooo!
Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Elimination Match
New Day vs. Matt Sydal & Ricochet vs. War Machine vs. The Kings of Wrestling
Winner Gets a RoH Tag Team Championship Match Later On Tonight
(Note: It is announced during their entrance that Matt Sydal & Ricochet will now be referred to as the Art of Flight.)
The bell rings as all four teams argue over which two superstars will start the match first. The Kings of Wrestling and the Art of Flight continue to fight over who gets to start off, with Hero and Cesaro eventually muscling their way past Sydal and Ricochet.
Ranallo: It looks like the Kings of Wrestling, the self-proclaimed ”Best team in this match” are going to start off the contest.
Graves: They are my pick to win it all tonight! No offense guys.
Cesaro convinces Hero to let him start the match and turns around to find himself face to face with both Hanson and Raymond Rowe of War Machine staring right back at him. Cesaro turns around quickly to tag out of the match, but Sydal and Ricochet both jump off the apron. Hero, who is yet to leave the ring himself, tries his best to convince Cesaro not to tag him in. Eventually, Cesaro finds himself pumped up enough to start the match and turns back to face War Machine, but instead meets a running big boot to the side of the head by Raymond Rowe.
Ranallo: Ray Rowe coming in hot!
Nick Jackson: Like a freight train!
Matt Jackson: Choo! Choo!
Rowe picks up Cesaro and pulls him towards the corner where he tag in his partner Hanson. Rowe clutched Cesaro and hits a Belly-to-Belly Suplex followed by Hanson coming off the top rope with a diving leg drop, bringing all 293lbs down on Cesaro for their finishing move known as The Fallout. Hanson pins Cesaro for the 1,2,3 and the crowd, along with Chris Hero are stunned in absolute silence.
The Kings of Wrestling have been eliminated!
Ranallo: The Kings of Wrestling are the first team eliminated in this match, and fairly early on too! They are speechless, same with the RoH crowd!
Graves: Thank God I chose War Machine as my favourites for this match!
Nick Jackson: So much for being the best tag team in this match!
Matt Jackson: Bye bye!
New Day and Art of Flight laugh and taunt the Kings of Wrestling as Chris Hero helps a disoriented Cesaro to the back, but War Machine aren’t laughing at all. Hanson looks around the ring before shouting for someone to come fight him, prompting Matt Sydal to hop in to the ring without any hesitation. Sydal begins to face around the ring, sizing up the much bigger opponent who just stands still, staring a hole through Sydal. Sydal comes in to clinch, but ducks under Hanson at the last second, and slaps the chest of an unsuspecting Big E, tagging the big man in to this match.
Ranallo: Sydal with a quick tag to Big E!
Graves: The two biggest superstars in this match about to go at it!
The two big men lock up in the middle of the ring and take turns muscling each other around. Big E tosses Hanson off the ropes and hits him with a shoulder block, but Hanson doesn’t budge. Big E charges back in with another shoulder block, but still nothing. This time it’s Hanson coming off the ropes with a shoulder block, and it’s Big E who barely budges.
Ranallo: We’ve got a battle of the big men here at All-Star Extravaganza!
Nick Jackson: Good! Let them wear each other out!
Matt Jackson: Best case scenario for us, we’d get Sydal and Ricochet!
Both big men continue to battle with each other, throwing hard shots and muscling each other around the ring until Big E pushes Hanson in to AOF’s corner, allowing Ricochet to tag himself in to the match for the first time. Getting in to the ring, Ricochet asks Big E to tag in Kofi Kingston, and Big E obliges. Ricochet and Kingston tie up and exchange armdrags. Kofi whips Ricochet in to the ropes, Ricochet ducks a clothesline attempt and springboards off the ropes, hitting a crossbody on Kofi, and a pin attempt that only gets a 2 count. Kofi is quick to get to his feet and catches Ricochet with a lariat. Kofi then starts heading off the top rope, but before he can make a move, he’s pushed off the ropes by Matt Sydal.
Ranallo: Matt Sydal may have saved his partner from any unnecessary damage there!
Graves: That’s what happens when you’re too close to enemy territory Mauro, Kofi should have payed closer attention to which corner he was in!
With Kofi down, Sydal screams at Ricochet to tag him in, but instead, Ricochet decides to climb the ropes himself, trying to set Kofi up for his signature 630° Senton, but while he is up top, an anxious Matt Sydal decides to tag himself in to the match, much to the dismay of his partner. Ricochet exchanges a few choice words with Sydal as he exits the ring. This minor confrontation between teammates allows Kofi to tag in Raymond Rowe, who is waiting for Sydal. As Matt Sydal backs away from his corner, Rowe clutches him from behind and hits him with the Death Row for the 1,2,3.
The Art of Flight have been eliminated!
Ranallo: The Art of Flight, a team that have really found their spot together recently have just been eliminated due to the selfish actions of Matt Sydal!
Graves: That means either War Machine or the New Day will be taking on The Young Bucks later tonight for the RoH World Tag Team Championship!
Rowe calls for Big E, but Kofi decides to get in to the ring instead, which is not the greatest idea. Row proceeds to overpower Kofi, tossing him around the ring with multiple powerhouse moves, wearing down his opponent, while continuously yelling for him to tag out. At one point during the match, Rowe tosses Kofi towards Big E, screaming for him to make the tag, but before Kofi can tag out, Rowe comes charging in to the corner, and bodychecks Kofi in to the turnbuckle, knocking Big E off the apron at the same time much to the dismay of the crowd. Rowe walks over to his corner and tags in Hanson, signaling for the end of the match, as he pick Kofi up, and gives him the Death Rowe, but instead of dropping him on the mat, Rowe sends Kofi right in to Hanson’s Spin Kick of Doom.
Ranallo: A Death Rowe in to a Spin Kick of Doom by War Machine!
Graves: That has to be it! Bucks get ready, it looks like your opponents tonight are going to be a tough one!
Hanson covers Kofi.
1………………..
2…………………
NOOOOOO!!!!
Xavier Woods grabs Kofi by the feet, and pulls him out of the ring to safety!
Ranallo: Maybe not Corey! Xavier Woods gets involved for the first time in this match, breaking up the pin and clearly saving the match for his team!
Graves: As always, New Day using their man advantage any way they possibly can, this match should be over right now!
Nick Jackson: Don’t you worry Graves, we’ve got tricks of our own to combat any man advantage the New Day could throw at us.
Enraged, Rowe rolls out of the ring and heads towards Xavier Woods who backs up rather quickly. As Rowe closes in on Woods, Xavier steps out of the way and Rowe meets Big E head on, knocking him back in to the ring post! While this is going on, Hanson has gone out of the ring to grab Kofi, and tosses him back in to the ring. Hanson screams at Kofi to get up, as he appears to be setting up for another Spin Kick of Doom, but Kofi manages to duck under it and catches Hanson with Trouble in Paradise as he turns around.
Instead of pinning Hanson though, Kofi uses what little strength he has left to throw himself towards the corner and tag in Big E who charges in to the ring and picks Hanson up for the Big Ending.
Ranallo: Big Ending! What a comeback this could be by the New Day!
Big E pins Hanson.
1………….
2……………….
3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DING! DING! DING!
Xavier Woods slides in to the ring with his trombone, as New Day celebrate their major victory in tonight’s match, motioning to the Young Bucks that the tag titles will be theirs before the end of the night.
Winners: The New Day by pinfall.
{While we wait for the superstars to get out of the ring, a video package plays, recapping the announcement of the Best of 7 Series between Zack Sabre, Jr. and Pete Dunne. It also shows quick recaps of Matches #1 & #2 as well as the events surrounding them.}
Best of 7 Series, Match #3
Zack Sabre, Jr. vs. Pete Dunne
(Series Tied 1-1)
Sabre is hot after Dunne right at the sound of the bell, no doubt still fuming over Dunne attack that helped him even the series at 1-1. Sabres chasing Dunne around the ring with multiple leg kicks and right hands as Dunne is unable to cover up. Eventually chasing Dunne in to the corner, Sabre unloads with several hard rights. Sabre continues to bring an aggressive attack to Pete Dunne, who looks to use any advantage to catch his breath, but between multiple submission holds and solid technical wrestling, Dunne is trapped. A small opening occurs when Dunne manages to quickly grasp the ropes as Sabres attempts his Jim Breaks Armbar, causing the referee to force Sabre to break the hold. Sabre, coming quickly on the attack gets a thumb to the eye by Dunne. This allows Dunne to gain momentum and take control of the match, where he begins to work the knee of Zack Sabre, Jr. hoping to damage it enough to slow Sabre down not only for tonight, but for tomorrow night as well. Dunne works over Sabre’s knees with stomps and multiple kneebars, showing the wear and tear on Sabre’s knee as he limbs around the ring slowly. Too much showboating from Dunne allows Sabres to get back in to control of this match, but it’s not for long, as Dunne is able to use the referee as a human shield long enough to get in position for the Bitter End as he covers Sabre 1,2,3 to take a 2-1 series lead.
Winner: Pete Dunne by pinfall.
We head backstage to wee Chris Hero helping a still visibly dazed Cesaro down the hallway. The camera zooms in close on the face of Cesaro to reveal the glossiness in his eyes, he is no doubt concussed. As Hero continues to walk his partner towards the medical room, they are intercepted by a gloating Seth Rollins.
Rollins: You know, I was really looking forward to getting a chance to beat you guys for the tag titles tomorrow night, but instead it look like you two just beat yourselves!
Cesaro smiles, staring up at whatever it is he is imagining is on the ceiling. Hero on the other hand isn’t happy at all. Snarling at Rollins, while struggling to hold up Cesaro.
Hero: Last I checked Rollins, I’m still at a 100%, so if you want to get your ass kicked a night earlier than expected, just say the word buddy!
Rollins laughs.
Rollins: I think you’ve already got your hands full tonight Chris. Besides, you wouldn’t want to lose 3 time in one weekend would you?
Hero pauses for a moment and thinks about what Rollins just said. He then glances over at Cesaro, still dazed and realizes it’s not worth the fight. Hero tell Rollins ”he’ll see him tomorrow night.” before walking off, leaving Seth standing alone in the hallway. Rollins turns to leave, when he hears a voice call out to him.
Triple H: Rollins!
Seth turns around to see Triple H.
Rollins: What do you want Hunter?
Triple H: Seth listen, I know you and I are finally starting to see eye-to-eye…
Rollins: We aren’t starting to see anything, we just share a common enemy at the moment! I know you attacked me Hunter, I’m sure of it!
Triple H: Seth, I don’t know how many times I have to tell you, I DIDN’T attack you!
Rollins: That’s bullshit Hunter! Until I have physical proof that it wasn’t you, you’re still the number one suspect in my books, no what the hell do you want? I’ve got a match to get ready for!
Triple H: I came by to tell you that even though we have a match together tomorrow night against the King’s of Wrestling, tonight we’re on opposite sides. I wanted to tell you that there should be no hard feelings about whatever happens tonight, but clearly you still don’t trust me after all I’ve done for you. Whatever happens tonight Seth, it’s just business, so maybe you should watch your own back tonight.
Triple H the walks away frustrated, leaving an angry Seth Rollins as we transition back to the ring for our next match.
James Ellsworth is already standing in the ring with Team Tremendous, holding a microphone as we awaits his cue to address the RoH crowd.
Ellsworth: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight you are all about to witness Ring of Honor history! Not only are you about to witness the in-ring debut of arguably the greatest tag team to ever step foot in this ring, but you’re also about to see Braun Strowman’s first loss in 2 months since coming to Ring of Honor in the draft!
The crowd boo’s loudly, clearly not agreeing with anything Ellsworth has just said to them.
Ellsworth: Without further adue, I am making myself the official ring announcer for this match! Introducing first, from Miami Florida, at a combined weight of 492lbs Dan Barry and Bill Carr, TEAM TREMENDOUS!
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR
Ellsworth: Annnnnd from some forest in Alabama probably, weighing 385lbs of way too much muscle, I mean seriously, stop going to the gym, BRAUN STROWMAN!
Braun Strowman vs. Team Tremendous
The bell rings and both Carr and Barry charge Strowman. The referee yells at both superstars that only one man can be in the ring at a time, but it doesn’t matter as Strowman levels the both with a double clothesline. Strowman the tosses Barry in to the corner before throwing Bill Carr in to Barry. He then tops it all off with a running splash on both men in the corner.
Ranallo: Strowman just easily picking apart Team Tremendous already!
Graves: Well we knew it was never really going to take long Mauro, this was a stupid decision on our General Manager’s part and now he’s going to have to pay the price tomorrow!
Strowman looks at Ellsworth who is now looking completely terrified on the outside of the ring, and pick Barry up for a Running Powerslam, but Bill Carr has a firm hold on Strowman’s leg. Strowman lets out a thunderous laugh and reaches down with one hand, pulling Carr up to his feet by his hair. He then picks Carr up as well, and hits a Running Powerslam on both members of Team Tremendous simultaneously.
Strowman places Bill Carr on top of Dan Barry and covers them both for a quick an easy 3 count as the fans go nuts.
Ranallo: A double Running Powerslam and a double pin! Braun Strowman has easily beaten Team Tremendous and will take on James Ellsworth tomorrow night!
Graves: This is great Mauro! We are one night away from finally getting a new General Manager!
Strowman leans over the ropes with a sinister smile on his face, staring right at James Ellsworth who is absolutely shaking in fear. Ellsworth then grabs a microphone as he begins to walk towards the ring.
Ellsworth: No! No way! I’m….I’m the General Manager of Ring of Honor and I can do whatever the hell I want, yeah that right! That means I’m canceling our match tomorrow night, it is not happening! Nope! No way! I’m not getting in the ring with you ever, and if you try and make me, you’re fired!
Ellsworth drops the microphone and runs to the back while boo’s from the crowd shower the arena.
Winner: Braun Strowman by pinfall.
{The scene switches over to Eric Bischoff who is on the phone in his office.}
Bischoff: Yeah, so far it’s been a pretty big success! Let’s just hope tomorrow night is as good as tonight’s been! Did you just see what happened out there? Ha! Yeah I’m pretty sure those guys won’t been seen here again after that. Oh well.
Just then, Eric’s door bursts open and in comes a visibly upset James Ellsworth.
Ellsworth: I am NOT doing it! No way, NOPE! NUH UH!
Bischoff shoots an angry look to Ellsworth which silences him immediately, as Bischoff brings his attention back to his phone conversation.
Bischoff: I’ve got to go. Yeah, it’s Ellsworth again, I need to deal with this. You’ll be here tomorrow night to make that big announcement right? Alright, see you then. Great job with this by the way, I can’t wait to see how you put it all together. Yeah, it’s your baby, I’m letting you take the reins for this one. Alright, yeah, bye.
**Bischoff then turns his attention back over to Ellsworth**
Alright, what the hell do you want James?
Ellsworth: I’m not doing it Eric! I don’t care if he beat them both, I’m not wrestling Braun Strowman tomorrow night! He’ll kill me, I have a job to hold on to here, I’ve got rent to pay, I’ve got kids! Well, I don’t have kids but still, I’m not wrestling Braun Strowman! You need to get me some security Eric! He’s going to come after me, and if he does, I…..I’m going to fire him!
Bischoff: You made the call last week James didn’t you? You agreed that you would face him if he beat Team Tremendous, which he did by the way, quite easily. One thing I need to see from you as the General Manager here is that you need to stay a man of your word James, and unfortunately that means lacing up those boots and stepping in to the ring with Braun Strowman tomorrow night as you promised.
Ellsworth: No! Eric, I don’t ask for much from you besides a little lee-way with the rent payments. By the way, I’m going to need another week to come up with last month’s rent, that detective costume was pretty expensive.
**Bischoff just stares blankly at Ellsworth**
Anyways, no! I’m not going to face Braun Strowman!
Bischoff begins to look more and more frustrated by the second. He takes a step towards Ellsworth, backing him up against the wall.
Bischoff: You listen to me and you listen to me good James! You know who I just got off the phone with? Someone who has done more to expand and promote this company in 3 weeks than you have since you got here. Someone who has been making me money instead of signing nobodies to million dollar contract! Your potential replacement! Tomorrow night, you’re going to march down to that ring in your wrestling gear, and you are going to face Braun Strowman one-on-one as you promised. If you choose not to show up for that match tomorrow James, YOU’RE FIRED! Now get the HELL out of my office NOW!
Defeated, Ellsworth sulks as he turns around and leaves Bischoff’s office. The camera then brings us back to ringside for our next match of the evening.
Moose vs. Mike Bennett w/ Maria
The bell rings, but Bennett doesn’t seem to care much about the match as he instead takes a moment to kiss his wife Maria who is standing on the ring apron. After what seems like far too long of a PDA session, Bennet finally turns his attention over to Moose who catches him unprepared with a Hitstick!
Ranallo: Hitstick! Mike Bennett’s decision to pay more attention to his wife than to his opponent has just cost him big time!
Graves: He’s coming off the biggest win of his career! This isn’t fair Mauro!
Moose covers Bennett.
1……………
2………………
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Bennett wouldn’t have been able to kick out, but Maria acting fast, saves her husband from suffering a very early defeat by pulling the referee out of the ring before he could finish the 3 count.
Ranallo: I in no way condone those actions, but Maria’s quick thinking has certainly just saved her husband!
Graves: The First Lady of RoH, she’s definitely a keeper Mauro!
Maria and the referee begin to argue on the outside of the ring as Moose tries to get the referee’s attention so he can try to pin Bennett again. The referee though tells Maria he’s not putting up with any nonsense tonight, and tosses Maria from ringside!
Graves: What? No you can’t do that! Why would the referee send such a beautiful figure to the back so soon? What am I going to look at all match now, Moose?
Ranallo: Well you could always try paying attention to the match Corey.
The referee gets back in to the ring, but by the time this has all taken place, Bennett has regain consciousness and rolls up Moose but only gets a 1 count. Moose tries to roll to his feet quickly, but eats a dropkick from Bennett who is now quick to attack the powerhouse Moose. Bennett drops an elbow to the ribs of Moose and goes for a single leg crab, but Moose kicks Bennett off of him, sending him stumbling towards the ropes. As Bennett bounces back, he’s able to connect on Moose with a discuss lariat that drops the big man down. Bennett smiles, wiping his hair from out of his face before heading over to the corner and climbing up the top rope. Once at the top, Bennet begins to measure Moose, waiting for him to get back up to his feet. Bennett then jumps off the top rope with a double axe handle, but Moose puts his arms out to catch Bennett and levels him with a lariat of his own, almost taking Bennett’s head right off.
Ranallo: WOW!
Graves: I don’t even think he knows where he is!
Moose covers Bennett again, but Mike Bennett gets a shoulder up at 2. Knowing he’s going to need to do a lot more to keep Bennett down, Moose then proceeds to inflict as much damage as possible with multiple powerhouse maneuvers on Bennett. He picks Bennet up and drops him to the mat with a Gorilla Press slam, before running off the ropes and splashing him on the back. Moose goes for the cover again, but once again is only able to score a 2 count. Moose drags Bennett over to the corner, where he proceeds to smash his head against the turnbuckle before turning Bennett around and delivering multiple hard shoulder thrusts to the ribs of Bennett. After inflicting more pain in the corner, the referee finally succeeds in breaking up that action by starting a 5 count. The break is only temporary though, as Moose charges back in to the corner again, but Bennett is quick to spin out of the way causing Moose to run himself in to the corner. As Moose staggers back, Bennett connects with a backstabber and covers Moose, but only gets a 2 count.
Ranallo: Moose dealt a lot of damage to Bennett, but it looks like it still isn’t enough!
Graves: They call him The Miracle for a reason Mauro, it’s going to take a lot to keep him down! He beat Finn Balor cleanly not too long ago, remember that. He’s the real deal here in RoH!
Holding on to the top rope, Bennett begins to stomp down hard on the ankle of Moose who tries to hide the pain, but a close up of his face shows he’s feeling every blow dealt by Bennett on to his ankle. At this point in the match, it’s now Mike Bennett’s turn to get some sustained offense in, as Bennett shows he can definitely hang with the best of them, using his own strength to suplex and body slam Moose all while continuing to inflict as much damage as possible on the ankle of Moose. The end of this match comes when Bennett botches an DDT attempt as Moose pushes him backwards. Moose goes for another Hitstick, but his ankle gives out, stopping him mid sprint. Countering quickly, Bennett picks Moose up and hits The Miracle in Progress, covering him for the 1,2,3!
Graves: He did it Mauro! Mike Bennett has beaten Moose cleanly!
Ranallo: That ankle played a major facture in Moose not being able to win this match, but don’t forget Moose has the match won less than a minute in to it! Mike Bennett owes Maria big time after that one!
Winner: Mike Bennett by pinfall.
As the referee checks on Moose’s ankle, Mike Bennett has grabbed a microphone to address the booing crowd.
Bennett: Did you see that? Everyone needs to take in this picture right here! Once again, I, Mike Bennett defied all odds stacked against me and defeated another major opponent! I just pinned Moose right in the middle of the ring less than two weeks after I did the same thing to Finn Balor! Now Finn Balor has a match tonight in the Main Event and win or lose, tomorrow night he gets a shot at the RoH Championship, but what about me? You see after my win here against Moose, I go to the back, and I GO HOME! I don’t get a chance at a second payday, I don’t get a match on tomorrow’s PPV finale, no! I get to wrestle on the first show, and they send me home! Once again, the top superstar in Ring of Honor is overlooked based solely on draft position clearly, because I’ve proven to be much better than Seth Rollins, Finn Balor or even Dean Ambrose! So Eric Bischoff, I’m addressing you right now, because after tomorrow night James Ellsworth probably won’t even exist anymore. I’m giving you one last chance to make me happy, because I’ve talked to Mr. McMahon over in WWF, I’ve talked to his son Shane over in WCW, hell I even took a phone call from Karen Jarrett in GFW and guess what? All 3 of them offered me big money contracts and immediate title shots! The ball is in your court here Eric! I want a shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship no later than this Wednesday night on RoH TV, or I QUIT!
{We see a dark image of the black and white forest as the numerous masked men continue to walk together in a slow and methodical pace.}
”If you know me, you know my family….”
{Just then one of the men in masks vanishes, then another, then another.}
”Tragedy struck, leaving me to decide who I really am…”
{At This point, there is no only one masked man walking alone in the forest as the rest have since vanished.}
”My arrival is soon, your questions will be answered, your lives as you know it, changed for good….”
{The camera then shows a small cabin in the middle of the forest}
{The man walks towards the cabin and places his hand on the door revealing a familiar ring, but before anything else can be seen, the video fades to black.}
”Brace yourselves, your nightmare is coming….”
RoH World Tag Team Championship
New Day vs. The Young Bucks ©
Due to the amount of damage sustained during the Fatal 4-Way tag match earlier tonight, Xavier Woods will be Big E’s tag team partner, while Kofi Kingston watches from the outside of the ring. Nick Jackson and Xavier Woods start off the match. Nick Jackson gains control of a tie up and spins behind Woods in to a waist lock, wrestling Woods to the ground and spinning in to a headlock. Jackson then drags Woods over to the corner where he and his brother take turns tagging each other in and out of the match so they can get in as many double team maneuvers as possible on Woods, constantly breaking up the referee’s 5 counts in the process. Nick turns to Big E and delivers a ”Suck It!” taunt before turning his attention back over to Woods.
Ranallo: The Young Bucks controlling this match up early on, keeping Xavier Woods from being able to get any chance for offense in this match.
Graves: They’re the tag team champions Mauro, this is what they do best!
Minutes pass as the Bucks show there’s nothing better than tag chemistry between brothers, making frequent tags and keeping Woods isolated in their corner so he can’t make a tag to Big E. Another tag gets Matt Jackson back in to the ring as Nick trips Xavier and Matt drops an elbow right on to his spine, causing Woods to scream out in pain. Matt tosses Woods against the ropes and runs towards him, but Woods ducks under Jackson’s arm and makes a b-line straight to his corner. Unfortunately, Nick Jackson who was still in the ring, cuts Woods off and sends him bouncing off the ropes, where Woods eats a double Superkick instead.
Graves: Superkick!
Ranallo: Xavier Woods in in real trouble now!
Graves: New Day would have been better off just using Kofi in this match anyways!
Matt pins Woods, but Big E breaks up the pin, tossing Matt Jackson off of Woods, he begins to drag Wood’s lifeless body to his corner so he can make a tag, but the referee intervenes to stop this and force him out of the ring. Showing they two can works as a cohesive unit, Big E continues to argue with the referee, distracting him long enough for Kofi to finish dragging Woods over to their corner. The causes Nick Jackson to get in to the ring as well, causing a tug of war over Wood’s body to begin between Kofi and Nick Jackson. The referee, now turning his attention to Kofi and Nick, allows Big E to get back in to the ring and spear Matt Jackson, who was looking to set up Kofi with a Superkick of his own. With Matt Jackson temporarily down on the mat, Big E grabs the referee and begins to yell and scream with him for no reason at all, other than to distract him long enough for Kofi to let go of Woods and level Nick Jackson with a Trouble in Paradise before rolling out of the ring,
Ranallo: Trouble in Paradise by Kofi Kingston! Both Bucks are down, now if only Big E can get himself tagged in to this match!
Graves: All hell is breaking lose here Mauro! This is a tag match, not a handicap match! There shouldn’t be 5 men in the ring!
Seeing Kofi roll out of the ring, Big E begins to laugh and apologizes to the referee, giving the confused official a hug before exiting the ring. Big E looks around, see’s Woods is close enough to tag, and finally tags himself in to the match as the crowd goes nuts. Kofi helps roll Xavier out of the ring as Big E starts cleaning house. He tosses Nick over the ropes before catching an incoming Matt Jackson with a Belly-to-belly suplex. Big E then bounces off the ropes and lands a Big Splash on Matt Jackson, covering him, but the pin is broken up at the last second by his brother Nick. Nick then proceeds to beat on Big E as he tries to fight himself up to his feet, ignoring the referee’s 5 count, Nick is determined to bring the fight to Big E. Finally, E gets himself up to his feet and tells the referee to let Nick fight him. This is cut short though as Matt Jackson takes Big E down with a chop block to the knees. Seeing Big E now down on his knees, Matt and Nick both come at either side of Big E which dual Superkicks, but Big E hits the mat at the last second, causing Matt and Nick to Superkick themselves. Matt lays out cold on the mat, as Nick rolls to the outside.
Ranallo: That plan just backfired in a big way! The Young Bucks have both just taken each other out of this match!
Graves: No way! This can’t be happening!
Big E picks up Matt Jackson for the Big Ending, but see Xavier Woods back in his corner and begging for a tag. Big E tags in Woods, and Woods begins to climb up the top rope, before coming down and hitting the New Day’s signature Midnight Hour on Matt Jackson.
Ranallo: Midnight Hour! We’re about to see new champions!
Before Woods can cover Matt, a masked man wearing all black hops the guardrail and sends Kofi Kingston face first in to the turnbuckle. Seeing this, Big E rolls out of the ring to go after the masked man, who begins to run around the outside of the ring. Big E, not paying attention runs right in to Nick Jackson who is waiting and meet Big E with a Superkick, dropping him on the floor outside. The masked man then hops on to the apron distracting the referee from counting any pinning attempts by Woods. Confused and angry, Woods charges at the masked man, who hops off the apron before Woods can reach him. Xavier then turns his attention back to Matt Jackson who is not only back up, but waiting and levels Woods with a Superkick.
Ranallo: What the hell just happened?
Graves: I don’t know Mauro, but whoever that is, they just saved The Young Bucks from losing the tag titles!
Matt drops on top of Xavier Woods as the referee counts the pinfall 1,2,3! The Young Bucks have successfully retained the RoH World Tag Team Championships thanks to help from a man in all black. Nick gets back in to the ring with both the titles and helps his brother up to his feet as the man in all black gets in to the ring as well. The Bucks stare at this man, wondering what his next move is, when the man slowly begins to remove his mask, revealing himself to be…..
Ranallo: Can this be?
Graves: I knew it! The Bucks said earlier that had a plan to even the odds in case New Day won the Fatal 4-Way, this was their plan!
Graves: KENNY OMEGA! The Leader of the Bullet Club has finally arrived here in Ring of Honor!
Ranallo: Things are looking bleak for the RoH tag team division now that the Bullet Club is getting even stronger!
Graves: This isn’t just the Bullet Club Mauro, it’s The Elite!
Winners: The Young Bucks by pinfall
(The Young Bucks retain the RoH World Tag Team Championships!)

Team Glorious vs. Team Strongstyle
6-Man Elimination “All-Star” Tag Match
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose start the match off for their respective teams. Both superstars give it everything they’ve got as the crowd absolutely loves the battle between two former Shield members right off the bat. Rollins hits Ambrose with a hard right and Ambrose staggers back, rebounding for a Lunatic Lariat, but Rollins ducks it and catches Ambrose with an Enziguri. Rollins picks up Ambrose and goes for a DDT, but Ambrose instead pushes Rollins up against the corner, where Bobby Roode takes it upon himself to tag in with a hard slap to the back of Dean Ambrose. Ambrose isn’t happy with Roode’s decision to tag himself in, but Roode now knows better than to pay any attention to Ambrose as he focuses all his attention on battling with Seth Rollins.
Ranallo: The dissention between teammates Dean Ambrose and captain Bobby Roode is being to show already.
Graves: I think Bobby Roode has learned his lesson. He’s too focused on leading his team to victory tonight to worry about Dean Ambrose’s childish games.
Roode takes his time attacking Rollins, which backfires on him as Rollins counters an Irish whip in to one of Triple H’s patented high knees which Triple H doesn’t seem too pleased with as the camera zooms in on his scowling face. Rollins tags out to RoH Champion Nakamura who Roode seems more than happy to tie up with. Roode and Nakamura exchange hard right hands in the middle of the ring until Roode gets a knee to the stomach of Nakamura. Roode goes to DDT Nakamura, but Shinsuke flips Roode over his back. As Roode gets back to his feet, Nakamura meets his with a running dropkick sending Roode toppling over the ropes and to the floor. Nakamura doesn’t go out after Roode, instead he waits for Roode to climb back in the ring. Angered and embarrassed, Roode has a few choice words for the RoH World Champion as Nakamura begs Roode to continue fighting. Roode however has other plans, as he quickly tags out to Triple H.
Ranallo: Bobby Roode seems to want to part of Nakamura!
Graves: He’s playing smart Mauro! Why would the team captain want to tire himself out already? Let your teammates do the grunt work! Well, teammate, I don’t think Roode has any intentions of trusting that lunatic Dean Ambrose, and I don’t blame him.
Triple H comes in to the ring as Nakamura looks to be tagging out, but The Game persuades Nakamura to stay in this match as he wants to go at it with the champion. The two lock up, Triple H muscles Nakamura in to the corner and lands 3 vicious knee thrusts to the ribs of Nakamura before breaking the referee’s 5 count. As the referee backs Triple H off Nakamura, The Game gets a final cheap shot in on the champion before backing away. Enraged, Nakamura charges at The Game for a Kinshasa, but Triple H throws himself out of the way, sending Nakamura halfway through the middle ropes. Triple H takes this opportunity to then drive an elbow in to the temple of Nakamura as he’s caught in the ropes. Taunting the booing crowd, Triple H whips Nakamura against the ropes, where Rollins manages to land a perfectly timed tag off the back of Nakamura that Triple H was unaware of. On the Irish whip rebound, Triple H takes down Nakamura with his signature Spinebuster.
The Game then taunts the crowd again, this time calling for a Pedigree on the RoH Champion. As Triple H turns to pick up Nakamura, he’s met by Seth Rollins who is once again the legal man in this match. Rollins waste no time in giving the crowd exactly what was promised as he Pedigrees The Game!
Ranallo: Pedigree! Seth Rollins with a Pedigree on Triple H!
Graves: So much for being partners tomorrow night!
Rollins quickly covers Triple H.

TRIPLE H HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Ranallo: Seth Rollins has pinned Triple H! The Game is our first elimination in this All-Star Tag Team Main Event!
Graves: I hope he’s happy Mauro, because this is going to make their relationship that much worse.
The referees roll the dazed Triple H out of the ring as Rollins celebrates with the roaring crowd. Rollins then turns to his opponents corner demanding to see who is next, but Roode and Ambrose are unable to decide which one of them want to enter the ring. With the referee’s help, Triple H is slowly brought back to his normal consciousness and is not pleased with what just happened. Triple H begins to yell and scream at Rollins as the referee’s force him up the ramp. Rollins just smiles at Triple H and responds with ”It’s just business!” as he watches and erratic Triple H be removed from ringside. Turning his attention back to Team Glorious’ corner, Rollins turns right in to a Dirty Deeds by Dean Ambrose and a quick cover.

SETH ROLLINS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Ranallo: Dean Ambrose just caught Seth Rollins off guard and eliminated his former Shield partner! After two quick eliminations we are now back even at 2 men per team!
Graves: A taste of his own medicine Mauro! I can’t stand Dean Ambrose, but Seth Rollins certainly deserved that!
A mixed reaction falls over the crowd, but those soon turn to a thunderous roar as Finn Balor steps in to the ring for Team Strongstyle, ready to go with Ambrose. Balor asks Ambrose if he’s ready, to which Ambrose replies he always is. Just then, Bobby Roode reaches over the ropes and slaps Ambrose hard in the back of the head to tag himself in to the match. As Roode gets in to the ring an angry Ambrose slaps Roode across the face which Roode then responds with a shove. Ambrose shoves Roode back. Another shove by Roode, and Ambrose responds with a hard right hand to the face of his team captain which results in a brawl between the two teammates in the corner.
Ranallo: Well it’s finally happened, Ambrose and Roode’s brief tenure as a team is exploding right between our eyes!
Graves: Ambrose should have just gotten out of the ring when HIS CAPTAIN tagged in! This is all his fault!
The referee tries to separate the two superstars, but is unable to get between them. Fed up from waiting for the brawl to end, Balor charges towards both men and lands a dropkick in to the back of Bobby Roode. The impact of course takes Ambrose out as well, as Ambrose rolls out of the ring, and Roode lays dazed on the mat. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to strike, Balor quickly climbs up to the top rope and hits the Coup de Grace on Bobby Roode.
Ranallo: Coup de Grace! Finn Balor is about to eliminate Bobby Roode!
Graves: This is all Dean Ambrose’s fault, that Lunatic!
Balor covers Roode.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ambrose manages to break up the pin at the last second, saving the man he clearly likes the least in this match! Balor can’t believe it. Ambrose helping Roode was clearly the last thing he expected to happen, but Ambrose just shrugs his shoulders ”It’s a tag match!” he yells back at Balor who is just shaking his head. Balor picks up Roode and begins dragging him in to the corner to tag Nakamura back in, but Roode quickly springs to life and elbows Nakamura before he can make the tag, knocking him off the apron before jamming a thumb in the eye of Balor to create a moment of separation. This moment proves to be advantageous for Roode and his team as he grabs the temporarily blinded Finn Balor and gets him with a Glorious DDT.
Roode quickly covers Balor.

Nakamura slides in to the ring to break up the pin, but it’s too late!
3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINN BALOR HAS BEEN ELIMINATED!
Ranallo: A dirty tactic by Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura is now on his own!
Graves: That’s the strategy of a captain Mauro! Roode will do whatever he can to lead his team to victory!
Nakamura gets to his feet, apologizing to Balor for not being able to save him in time before turning his attention to Roode. Remembering what happened earlier in the match though, Roode still wants nothing to do with Nakamura as he tags out to Dean Ambrose. Not thinking twice Ambrose charges in to the ring and ties up with Nakamura, who send him to the mat with a perfectly times arm-drag. Ambrose is up quickly and charges again, but this time it’s a hip toss by Nakamura followed with a perfectly timed knee to the back of Ambrose. Nakamura heads over to the ropes and climbs to the middle turnbuckle. He then proceeds to wait for Ambrose to get up before leaping off the ropes and hitting a flying version of his Kinshasa on Ambrose. Ambrose falls backwards, but somehow manages to catches himself on the ropes and land his signature Lunatic Lariat on Nakamura as both men now lay on the mat.
Ranallo: A Kinshasa off the middle ropes, but somehow Ambrose was able to land a Lunatic Lariat off the momentum of Nakamura’s impact! Both men are down!
Graves: That was unbelievable!
With both men down, the referee begins a standing 10 count, but Nakamura is able to get to his feet first as the Lunatic Lariat clearly did less damage than the champion’s Kinshasa. With Ambrose slowly beginning to stir in the middle of the ring, Nakamura, slumping in the corner sets up for another Kinshasa attempt. Nakamura charges at Ambrose as he gets to his feet, but Ambrose just barely avoids it, spinning Nakamura around in to the Dirty Deeds.
Ambrose goes to cover Nakamura, but Roode comes running in to the ring, and tosses his partner over the top rope before dropping down to cover Nakamura.

DING! DING! DING!
Ranallo: Bobby Roode just pinned Nakamura, but how? Dean Ambrose was the legal man!
Graves: I don’t care, but I love it! This is Glorious!
{An instant replay shows that Roode has made a blind tag on Ambrose as he was falling between the middle ropes for the Lunatic Lariat. The referee is clearly seen recognizing the tag that everyone else seemed to have missed.}
Graves: Did you see that Mauro! That right there shows you exactly why Bobby Roode was the perfect captain to lead his team to glory! Glorious!
Ranallo: A well thought out move by Bobby Roode that’s for sure, but a dastardly one no doubt! Things between Roode and Ambrose don’t appear to be getting any better, even with this historic win tonight!
Roode heads up the ramp celebrating his victory as both Nakamura and Ambrose look on shocked. The PPV graphic appears in the corner of the screen reminding everyone of Night #2 tomorrow, as we slowly fade out to the RoH logo, ending Night #1.
Winners: Team Glorious
